Lol, tree, I like that too about PP. I was actually thinking the other day that I wish you could save details - like a PP address book!

4 my postman still hasn't been today either. Mine has parcels most day for here, and he has started to throw my nappy ones through the window! Lol. Prefer it to going to the parsel office any day though!

Great, when I checked the weather last night it said sunny for today so I did a wash overnight, one first thing and one when I got in fom toddlers. So now I have 3 loads to hang out and its about to piss it down! ARGH! AND the washing on the airer is still wet from yesterday! Dreading winter, I don't like to run the dryer as we struggle with bills as it is and try to be "green".

4andnotout · 26/06/2009 12:48

Tree-all packaged up, will post this afternoon on the way to school

Jenny-My postman knows be my name now he comes here so often i had a rather fetching chocolate itti come today

Im now in a quandry my pp funds would either buy 2 custom liners for the p&t which wont be here for a few weeks, or finish off the colour ittis im missing which would probably be here in a few days, hmm instant gratification or wait

Im probably boring you all to death with all this!

Hi, just found your thread. Don't know how I've missed it all this time!

I'm looking for advice for selling on used first sizes. I've tried them on used nappies.com with no takers even though I had a 0.99p start. Ebay just removes them. Any advice on how to sell these on?

Ta

4andnotout · 26/06/2009 12:52

Try

Clothnappytree

UkPL

there is also a yahoo real nappy group, or the for sale section here is quite popular, we all usually buy and sell amongst our selves here too.

john - I am trying to sell lots of small nappies too and haven't had much luck yet. I think its one of those things that you need the right person to see it. Ie, pregnant women ideally as they will be the ones looking for newborns. Do you have a noticeboard at your local antinatal hospital? Or you could try on netmums - they are usually quite good for buying or selling.

Have just put DD1 down for a nap and hoping DD2 is going to let me spend the time taking pictures of the hundreds or nappies/wraps I need to shift. They are taking over my house!

Does anybody know, the easiest way to upload a lot of pictures to a site where a)I can link to on here and other sites and b) can use it to put pictures directly on places like CNT? I don't want to have to upload them all indervidually or select all of them to upload - just want to take hundeds of pictures, upload the whole album in one go and it be online!

4 - I sold my BBOS and haven't regretted it so far. I got around £10 or so each - so you could replace them with ittis! If that is what you prefer - you might as well go for it!

TCB - your parsel has been posted! Should get it tomorrow or Monday.

4andnotout · 26/06/2009 13:05

Jenny-I upload all my photos to photobucket and just link them to my adverts

OP posts:
JennyPenny22 · 26/06/2009 13:10

CAn you do a whole load in one upload? I litterally have HUNDREDs!

4andnotout · 26/06/2009 13:14

Yes when you do the upload if you press ctrl it will let you select all and it will upload all in one go

Oh no! Just went to decide what I was going to order from UD (with the funds from my for sale woolies) and they have had deaths in the family and closed the custom sections! I was going to get some soy fitteds and fleece wraps!

Octothechildherder · 26/06/2009 14:38

Oh dear - thats sad.

I have bought some wool longies from Dragon Flair (CNT) - gorgeous and pink - purely to take in photo of new wardrobe - as have 3 boys out of cloth! Emroidered butterflies and flowers on - super cute!

johnworf · 26/06/2009 14:41

Thanks ladies. I'll try the links you've mentioned. Probably put them on MN and see how they go.

I think a lot of new mums can be put off by small stains or even the word 'used' Shame as mine have loads of wear left in them.

treedelivery · 26/06/2009 14:42

So...Octo..those longies...where are they now???????

treedelivery · 26/06/2009 14:44

Blimey how rude of me, hello johnworf and welcome.

ceb80 · 26/06/2009 14:54

Welcome johnworf to Tree!!

Have some nappies to sell as have finally worked out what suits my square shaped DS!

Will post properly later when the poor little chap has settled, he had his 2nd lot of jabs this morning and despite calpol is inconsolable

I have
BG v3 with inserts
Greenkids anytimes
Little Kiwis (M)
Nappy Nation (size 1)
Pop In
Tots Wraps (new style size 0)
Tiny pair of shorties and a seen better days but functioning wool wrap s/m I think.
Let me know if any interest but will post them on for sale board later anyway.

BTW will swap for Ittis (boy colours in Med or Large)

twoclimbingboys · 26/06/2009 15:16

hello everyone!

Jenny - Thank you for posting the nappy to me. Did you get parcel of wraps & nippas from me? The custom part of UD is closed, but I sent some XL fleece wraps (but with tighter poppers at the waist) back last week so they have 2 fleece wraps in stock that should fit Eloise. One is neutral as its pale blue fleece with a rainbow of poppers. The other you definitely wouldn't want as it is blue camo. They are really lovely, I only sent them back as they were front popper and I want side snap.

Rachel - I asked UD about making nappies with bamboo velour inners. As soon as they get bamboo back in stock Amber is going to make one for Blake, so they do definitely still make them. She said they also have bamboo velours in green and yellow.

I managed to get a toddler size HL bedbug to try preloved. It is only 6 weeks old and was £15 posted, so still expensive.

JennyPenny22 · 26/06/2009 15:46

Would be interested to know how much you want for the well used wool wrap and what colour it is. I shouldn't really though.

Have done over an hour of photo taking and still have a huge pile left to take! Just hoping DD2 settles while DD1 is still asleep. Should wake DD1 up really but am not going to! Will take her to the park later to tire her out!

Talia has gunky eyes .

We are hopefully going camping Monday - Friday! So will be using sposies for those days! Wish us luck! Last time I went camping was with my Dad when I lived at home! And with an 18 month old and 8 week old - should be interesting! DH isn't coming as he is too nervous about the idea! Lol. SO I am bringing my sister instead! She will probably be more fun anyway! And would be good for DH to get a break in some ways, catch up on sleep etc. Not that I ever get a break but still!

Hoping to sell some woolies in the next few days, have a few people waiting for pics. That will give me some funds for a few bits. Now trying to decide what to get! There is sooo much that I want!

4andnotout · 26/06/2009 16:03

I love camping jenny, you will have a great time

Thanks for all your help and advice.
Is it Jennypenny that is the"nappy seller"?

JennyPenny22 · 26/06/2009 16:37

We are going to Haven and there is loads to do by the looks of things. Most seems to be included in the price as well (i hope so anyway!). It is costing us £46 to go for 4 nights for 2 adults and the 2 babies. If their soft play is included (and suitable for Elouise) then I will be very happy as we spend a lot on soft play anyway and swimming costs us £10 for 2 adults so £40 for the week of unlimited swimming and soft play alone is worth it, and get the beach, parks, walks, entertainment etc all as extras! Just hoping Elouise copes ok at night - she is very attached to HER bed and I have yet to manage to get her to sleep anywhere else!
Quick question if you don't mind me going off topic for a bit. Do you think it is worth bringing a travel cot? Would mainly be like a playpen or somewhere to put Talia away from Elouise and possibly for Talia (9 weeks) to sleep in at night. Or do you think it is a waste of space? I am going to double check the size of the tent (we are borrowing it) but I think it has a bedroom that sleeps 4 and then an extra room about the same size. Car space shouldn't be too much of a problem as I have a galaxy 7 seater and the seats can come out so will just bring the 4 seats so have loads of space in there.

JennyPenny22 · 26/06/2009 16:38

Oh dear it is forcast heavy rain

BaronConker · 26/06/2009 16:40

ceb80 - did you see my post about Nature Babies wraps?

JohnWorf - i have a big load of first nappies too, and nobody wants them! there is a lady on cloth nappy tree who wants free cloth to demonstrate to cloth virgins, i'm thinking of sending some to her... there's also someone local to me who sends nappies and wraps out to africa for babies in refugee camps, hospital etc, so i sometimes pass things on to her if i can't sell them (god, that makes me sound awful, as i'd rather get cash than give to charity!!)

4andnotout · 26/06/2009 16:46

Jenny-I personally haven't ever taken a travel cot, we just usually strap them into a pushchair whilst we set up etc to stop her running off, if you have the space to store it though it seems like a good idea.
