soon is Thalia long and slim? I bet if you put a wanted up for xs sandys on cnt you would get loads of replies.

Thanks - you have cheered me up re. nappy selling issues!

soon2befamilyof4 · 29/04/2009 00:34

Yes she is TCB. I have put a wanted on UKPL but couldn't get onto CNT tonight? I can't even afford to buy any TBH but I really want them so might stretch to it. I can sell again afterwards.

Lady still hasn't got back to me about my big bundle. It is annoying as I want to see what newborn/small nappies are in there. She did say there weren't that many newborn ones, but put together with what I have got, it might be enough. But by the time I get them I might have already spent more money on XS sandys! Guess i could sell them on again after and wouldn't have lost much.

treedelivery · 29/04/2009 11:22

Soon - you must be chomping at the bit to get your cundle - we all are. Bummer!!

I have a question Has anyone tried Nappy Freash from BioD? It is enzyme and chlorine bleach free and eco friendly, no perfume etc. Itdoes have a antibacterial and germicidal action, so I have some to fight the nappy rash fight.

ANy experience?

Sorry tree, no idea. Have you tried the washing section on CNT?

DDs cord fell off today so hoping washables will be a bit easier now. I was always paranoid about the cord.

How much do you think is a good price for XS sandys?

treedelivery · 29/04/2009 14:58

xs sany's? I dunno what I paid - maybe £4 or so? I paid more for the cream ones [which seem softer] and newer less crinkly ones!

CNT - good idea!

Wow, thanks Rachel - will do it now!! How the hell do I decide which size to order!?! Lol. Do I get the new baby one or Elouise!?! So complicated, very important decision! Lol.

soon2befamilyof4 · 29/04/2009 17:46

Do you know how many stamps that is? I have quite a few first class stamps here already.

treedelivery · 29/04/2009 18:42

Thanks rachel!!

New nappy forum www.teamlollipop.co.uk/chatterbox/

thebluefoxategreensocks · 29/04/2009 20:03

soon: I used 2 x 1st class LL stamps, 1 ordinary 1st class stamp, and a 1p one! Hopefully it all added up correctly! LOL

soon2befamilyof4 · 29/04/2009 21:05

hmmm. I only have normal first class stamps! I am going to the PO tomorrow though to sort passports out - boring!

I have just put Talia in the tots AIO onesize! Looks quite sweet, not as bulky as I thought. Seemed huge as I was putting it on, but with a bit of fiddling about - I got a good fit I think. Not too sure if it is tight enough round the legs - we will see! Only thing is - the front is a bit bulky where it is folded down on the smallest setting, yet the very back doesn't even have any absorbancy. Will have to play about with it next time to see if I can sort that out a bit better - I only have one ATM but might look into getting more if it works well on DD2 as well - it works on DD1 but we do add an EP hemp (instead of the removable booster thing).

Don't suppose anybody is selling any cheap bamboo inserts/boosters?

I have just sat and stuffed all my pockets (well, a lot of them anyway). I stuffed all the BG for DD2 and used the BBOS and GK for DD1 as they are more bulky. I completly varied what I stuffed them with, so I can see what works and what doesn't. What seems good (haven't tried them yet so just guessing) is the bamboo boosters than I bought from 4 last week. I hadn't planned to use them but took them off the line and thought I would give them a try and they actually seem a pretty good fit, but will see when it is on her. I am sure she will poo again soon and you will have an update on the tots aio and I will stick a BG on! Others I found small MF inserts, have a really thin hemp booster topped with a thin cotton one. Will let you know what works!

Rachel - What free nappy did you ask for? I have asked for a bamboo size 2 in the end. I did think about getting size 1 to use for DD2 but figgured a size 2 would last longer, and if they take a long time to post them out, like the pop ins did then she might not get much use out of it.

Rachel again - what nappies are you using on Clement? (hope I got the name right, might be thinking of somebody else! )

The only thing we have really tested until today was the XS sandys which are fab but I don't have many. I have found another 2 for sale but just waiting to see if I can make use of the other nappies we have as we have too many really. I also want to see what nappies come in my big bundle but the woman STILL isn't getting back to me.

soon2befamilyof4 · 29/04/2009 21:06

Oh BTW sorry to go on about te nappies we are using, but I know Natty for one was wanting to know what we got on with for new babies to help her descide what to get for her newbie.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 29/04/2009 22:38

soon: I opted for a size 1 microfibre one - not sure why (since I prefer natural fibres!), guess cause I've not tried one of them before! lol I have loads of cotton size 2 LL, and about 4-5 bamboo size 1 - so thought I'd see what the microfibre one is like.

And yes, Clement is his name! Here he is last night, wearing a pair of pre-loved longies over a size 1 Cotton Tots
3.bp.blogspot.com/_eH3zT2SZkKE/Sfdmz-pGQII/AAAAAAAABq8/z-WFWhylZ-E/s1600-h/17daysold.jpg
and just have to share one more pic of his cute face
2.bp.blogspot.com/_eH3zT2SZkKE/SfdmoFu4j0I/AAAAAAAABq0/I4UIZYSRAiw/s1600-h/17daysoldsmile.jpg

As for what nappies I'm using for him, mainly size 1 Tots Bots (cotton ones and 1 bamboozle!) and some size 1 bamboo LL, a bamboo fitted Bumgenius (tho don't find it all that absorbant, but very soft and comfy looking), and still the xs Sandy's at times (tho they now need to be changed quite frequently, as he seems to be a heavy wetter already - meaning the Tots are better really), and have some size 1 Kissaluvs too. I've also got a couple of Ellas House nappies - a day nappy with tie-dye outer and a cotton print outer - they're a lovely trim fitting nappy, but just not really absorbant enough. So I guess really, at this point in time, he's mainly in size 1 Cotton Tots, with the odd other nappy at various points in the day. I have a couple of small Minki fleece pockets, but haven't worked out what would be best to stuff them with to last at night. I tried one recently with part of a bamboo terry square and it worked, but probably could have done with more stuffing.

twoclimbingboys · 29/04/2009 22:39

I have just taken advantage of the 15% off at upsy daisy and order my 3rd thing from them in a few days! I have ordered a UDNN with blue camo inner and blue fish snaps, citrus slush minkee wrap and a custom order beach scene wrap. Sod my overdraft!!!

What is the simmest fitted nappy anyone has? I want a few for under my new wraps. I have an ella's house I like and apparently the WNNL are also really slim. Are there any others?

twoclimbingboys · 29/04/2009 22:47

x-post rachel. How cute - got to go and tell DH I want need another baby after looking at those

4andnotout · 30/04/2009 08:10

thenatty i need your address for me to post your liner bundle

Camomilla · 30/04/2009 09:26

hi everyone! have all the babies arived? I know Rachel's has (spotted her "somewhere" else), what about the rest? Sorry I've been away so long, well, busy with RL and then not much to say about nappies (well, trying to avoid temptation now that we have found the right ones for us , though we now need the new itti prints )... we have settled with the ittis and pop-ins for day, wool/BH nights and MEOS bamboo for wool days (got a pair of woolywraps longies new for 1/2 price and they are wonderful!)

so with DP having been made redundant I need to clear the millions of nappies I am not using, as it's just stupid having them sitting there. So, anyone interested on Sandy's? I have 10 bamboo ones, bought from new and only used for about 3 months EEEEUC, as part of my vaaaaaaaast collection. £5 posted (gifted pp)
3 coloured sandy's - yellow and pink washed and tried for look/measure only, purple not even prewashed - £7 each posted
3 x XS white cotton sandy's - GUC - £3.50 posted

Camomilla · 30/04/2009 09:28

sorry, forgot to say it's Sunflower!

treedelivery · 30/04/2009 09:59

Hi!
Soon may be interested in Sandy's!

treedelivery · 30/04/2009 10:02

I have a thirstie aio coming - very excited! Lilac though, I have a wrap in lilac but hey ho was good price.

Soon be may, soon be spotty itti time!

Camomilla · 30/04/2009 10:08

went back home for 2 wks over Easter and DD's received a lovely dress, white with fushia polka dots and opposite trimming... just matching that spotty itti!!! she really NEEEEEEEEEEDS it!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 30/04/2009 10:55

Camomilla: Spotted me somewhere else???! Am I being spyed on?! LOL Nice to see you back here! x

Camomilla · 30/04/2009 11:15

no, just saw a familiar name and then saw pics of your 3 LOs... give you a clue - I'm replacing nappy addction with babywearing addiction, a lot more expensive, but I've managed to be good so far, plus a spot of diy and resale

thebluefoxategreensocks · 30/04/2009 11:57

ahh, now I know where you mean! Will have to try and spot you there! LOL Lovely forum, I think! As for baby wearing, I'm loving my Tots Bots Papoozle! Not as fancy or unique as some of the posh slings that are about, but I love how comfy it is, and keeps Clement very securely in place when I need to cook, do dishes, shop etc. I'm really enjoying wearing it!!
