Great stuff Now I just need to get my hands on some large Airflows. DS has been in disposables for weeks.

treedelivery · 02/06/2009 18:41

OOOOh fluffy post!

This arived and it's lush, though I ordered the wrong colour. I got aqua when I wanted brown

A blueberry side snap - its lovely. I think I prefer it to an itti! From used nappies, its brown with blue spots.

AND........my longies!!!! Oh I love them. Cream and biscuit stripes with frill legs and a drawstring waist. They were hard to knit apparently as there are no leg seams. They only just fit though so I dunno if they are stretched a bit as she grows will that effect how they work. I have ordered a jumper in cream to match, with a cat face on in the biscuit colour [smie]

Will upload a pic asap! Am very delighted!

Ahh the longies sound so cute!!

twoclimbingboys · 02/06/2009 20:39

jenny - I like the bright paisley for a girl

tree - your nappy purchases sound fab

thebluefoxategreensocks · 02/06/2009 20:46

treedelivery: awww, pic of longies is very cute! I love wool! Just bought Clement a pair of Babylongleg shorties yesterday - same as these here www.babylonglegs.co.uk/images/shorts/small-phoenix-shorts.jpg but preloved and coming from France! Hoping they'll not take too long and still fit him when they arrive! LOL

BTW, was someone on here looking for medium Motherease Airflows?? Still finishing my sort out and have 2 spare ME Airflows in size medium. They are the oceans print (top print on page here www.mother-ease.com/default.aspx/70. The insides are quite discoloured/browned (maybe previous owner washed with soap nuts?!) - but prints on the outside are still nice & bright. Anyway, going cheap - 6.50 inc postage for the both of them. Just let me know if still needing some!

And Blueberry minky wrap still up for sale - but can't seem to tempt anyone to it!

ceb80 · 02/06/2009 21:11

rachel that was me after the Medium airflows, would love to take them off your hands! Remind me of your paypal.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 02/06/2009 21:49

ceb80: Sure! As long as you're OK with them being browned/discoloured inside. But you'd never know that from the outside (when they're being worn) - prints aren't faded at all. Anyway, Paypal to [email protected] and I can get them posted to you in the morning!

Octothechildherder · 02/06/2009 22:35

Ceb - tell them about your new nappy! I am so pleased you like it - great news

There is not enough time in the day for nappies, work, children, secret nappy stuff, dh , ironing, wine .... !

ceb80 · 02/06/2009 22:43

rachel am fine about the inners, my smalls are like that too! (I mean my small airflows not my undies )

Yes my new nappy! Octo kindly sent me a new nappy to try its a Pop n Gro. I think its great, kind of like a cross between a Pop In and a Bumgenius. No leaks after 4 hours on my pees like a horse DS! Must go as said DS creating !

thebluefoxategreensocks · 02/06/2009 23:03

ceb80: Thanks for payment - will get it posted in the morning.

oooh, sounds a neat nappy! Never heard of it! It think there are just too many nappies out there - and I'd like to try the all! LOL

treedelivery · 02/06/2009 23:47

New nappy??

Oooo. Where can we see it?

HAve 10 days of disposables ahead - when all I really want to do is try my woolies and new baby beehind minky. Tut.

JennyPenny22 · 03/06/2009 07:58

The new nappy sounds good. Does it come in nice colours or is it plain? Anybody have a link?

I am trying to find more BBH for sale, but they all seem very expensive! Just bought 2 for £16.50 posted. Seen some more for £8.50 each but can't figgure out if they are worth it? They are the only nappy that I have managed to get to work for both girls, so are a great nappy to put in the nappy bag instead of taking seperate ones. And they make a good night nappy for Talia. And they should be something I will keep till we are out of nappies, so in that sence, it might be worth it? Goodamammas fit them both too and are similar to BBH but pretty, but they are VERY expensive!

4andnotout · 03/06/2009 08:04

I love my bbh's for nights, it's a shame they are so expensive at the moment, funnily enough i was offered some at £5 each and jumped at it but she never completed the sale and then advertised them a few weeks later for £8 or so each

eclairea · 03/06/2009 09:09

hi octo I had a look at your shop but couldn't see any at that price, and because I would like two over £5 is a bit expensive for me. Would be happy with seconds/secondhand if you have any?

ceb80 · 03/06/2009 10:25

Sorry can't find a link, for the Pop n Gro, have asked Octo for one so you can all see it. I think like BG you're not going to fall in love with the way it looks (very similar to BG but with leg cuffs like the pop in). Its slim and btp and an aio with 2 boosters included.
It comes in white, cerise, green, aqua and yellow I think. Not sure of price but I'm def going to get some more as they seem to fit Xander better than BG.

JennyPenny22 · 03/06/2009 10:54

We tried bumgenious again yesterday. I know loads of people have got on with BG from birth but not us . I find 2 parters so much more reliable on both my girls TBH. both BG I used yesterday on Talia leaked .

4andnotout · 03/06/2009 11:21

There should be some pop n gro's on here hopefully link will work
The pink is nice but other than that they look a little plain for me

Both dd's have the new udos's on but they are huge DD4 could wrap hers twice round her little waist, i suppose at least i know they will last until pt, and will the bbos inserts they are fairly reliable.

Still have loads of blueberry wraps if anyone wants any, open to swaps too

treedelivery · 03/06/2009 12:05

Jenny - we couldn't use BG till Hatts was a good 2 months, they leaked at the leg.

I want more patterns on nappies. They only seem to happen on wraps, never on all in one's.

4 WHat wraps have you got?

4andnotout · 03/06/2009 12:20

twoclimbing nappy arrived today and looks fab, looks so thick im going to try it on dd3 tonight

tree i have medium cow and pink, sage, butter circles, and large cheetah, sapphire and buttermilk blueberry wraps.

treedelivery · 03/06/2009 12:24

Oh I HAVE to go pack and get sorted. Will muse on the wraps. I have a notion they wont fit over the big fleece fluffy naps she wears? What do you think?

4andnotout · 03/06/2009 12:31

The medium i can get over a size 2 flexitot or a bbh with a bit of tucking it in the waistband at the back, the large i can get over a boosted bbh or bhugger.

Oh i don't envy you packing it is the one job i detest!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/06/2009 13:15

So who uses cloth wipes here? Just wondering if anyone would like some "wipe solution bits" - free for postage? I got them from someone last year but just haven't used them. Too lazy to make up solution - I just wet my cloths under the tap each time. They are a few years old (as previous person didn't get round to using them either) so the bags look rather messy/sad, but can't see why the soapy stuff shouldn't be OK. There are about a half dozen small bags (same as seen here www.mommysclosets.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=3&ccSID=b506025b82acebdc6e3ad6a2d4689a4f - various scents from Apple to German Chocolate Cake! Can split up if necessary, if a few of you would like some. Just let me know - can weigh/measure them to see how much postage would be.

4andnotout · 03/06/2009 13:31

rachel i'd love to take some off your hands, i have a bit in pp so can pay when you work out out how much

twoclimbingboys · 03/06/2009 15:03

4 - I am really glad it arrived safely and you like it. I hope it work well for you tonight.

jenny - at least bumgenius seem to sell on really well.
