Jenny-I have the pink, sage circles and cow print both medium blueberry wraps [wink

JennyPenny22 · 30/05/2009 17:38

ohh, how much for the pink circles? Are they bulky?

Elouise has been in her new UD fleece wrap today and we love it - despite not getting on with the tots fleece that talia has

4andnotout · 30/05/2009 17:57

They aren't bulky at all, they are nice soft inside and out, i think i advertised the pink, sage, buttermilk circles for 8 pounds posted, there is my ad on the for sale board with pictures on.

4andnotout · 30/05/2009 18:06

CYTEEN have sent it through.

Hi Rusmum.

cyteen · 30/05/2009 21:21

Great, thanks 4 - I'll get that in the post to you on Monday

rusmum · 30/05/2009 21:23

whats new?????

4andnotout · 30/05/2009 21:54

Not much new here, how are you?

twoclimbingboys · 30/05/2009 22:06

Evening rusmum and 4.

Cyteen - I hope his temp is ok and he is fully recovered now.

Jenny - just out of interest what didn't you like about the tots fleece wraps? The only thing I don't like about them is that they are aplix and I have side snap ones from UD, WN, & stacinator. I am selling the spotted tots ones, but keeping all of my striped tots ones. Tots are a bit more lightweight than all the other fleece wraps I have so I am finding them to be really good in hot weather.

rusmum · 30/05/2009 22:13

i found fleece was damp all the timme??

thebluefoxategreensocks · 30/05/2009 22:21

twoclimbingboys: I'm guessing the tots fleece wraps you're selling are size 2s? I'm trying to find a size 1, but seems I only see the larger size! Clement gets on very well in his size 0 spotty tots fleece wrap, but I can barely squeeze him into it now! lol I think I prefer wool in general (esp for nights), but like to have a fleece wrap as well - esp as I find wool needs extra washings for little ones since they can easily get soiled with explosive poos!

twoclimbingboys · 30/05/2009 22:31

rachel - they are actually size 3 (if I remember rightly and a size 3 nature babies fleece wrap). Loads of people love wool, but I am just too lazy for hand washing and lanolising!

rusmum - I don't really get 'dampness' even with sodden night nappies under them, although wetness is supposed to evaporate through it so was it just that?

4andnotout · 31/05/2009 11:32

Just made the mistake of looking at the upsy daisy website and weenotions...if dp wasn't being so mean and making me buy practical things out of my paypal account i could go wild in there!!

treedelivery · 31/05/2009 12:08

Hi everyone.

Hello Rusmum

Had lovely warm days with dd in dress and big nappy. Fab.

4andnotout · 31/05/2009 12:11

Me too have been co-ordinating their outfits and nappies (hence nappy envy!)

treedelivery · 31/05/2009 17:27

Have bought some wooly bits!! Veeeery excited, from used nappies.

I didn't know dh was going to be made redundant [again] when I bid for them . What can you do?

Has anyone got any bum huggers in medium?? I have one and with the weather being good they would be great now. Probably not much good to us in winter, they'd take a while to dry on the line! So I'd like another one, despite financial disaster zone here.

Had also ordered a new nappy before the news form work - but I can return that.

JennyPenny22 · 31/05/2009 20:18

The tots fleece wrap - When Talia is wearing it, she is always damp. She can have it on for an hour or less and her clothes are damp! I don't understand why as Elouise is a heavy wetter and the UD fleece wrap seems to work. When I have fully tested the UD wrap, if I am still as please with it I will get another one. Although they have 10% off at the moment! Does anybody know how long it is for?
I wanted to order some soy fitteds but they are out of stock! Was going to dye them too!

twoclimbingboys · 31/05/2009 20:41

Tree and 4 - I have been showing Blake's nappy off too in the hot weather. Yesterday he just wore sandys with a savannah ME wrap, a plain white t-shirt and a huge safari hat!

Jenny - I think UD are expecting soy within the next week or so. I am hoping the 10% off is until the end of WAHM month as I want to order some more fleece wraps once I have the cash.

Tree - what is the wool like that you have ordered?

Octothechildherder · 01/06/2009 07:44

A woollie question - what kind of wool i.e. 2 or 4 ply etc are wool covers made out of? I have a source of wool but not sure what they need to do to it ready for knitting.

JennyPenny22 · 01/06/2009 08:57

I have loved having pretty girly nappies under dresses! Looks so much nicer than disposables!

I love the look of the natural skin products on UD site. Been thinking about getting the wipes cubes. They look very handy!

I am going to be a tester for a Wrap from softbots and some cloth san pro (Both from the WAHM board on CNT). Yay!

JennyPenny22 · 01/06/2009 09:34

octo - not sure about that. I know it needs to be 100% pure wool, rather than the cheap stuff you get, if that helps? Are you on cloth nappy tree? They have a wool section and somebody in there would know.
