I use bold 2 in 1 and definatly like it. Usually when I get preloved nappies, I don't like the smell of them until they have been washed in bold 2in1!

I did rubbish selling nappies on ebay last week. Got 99p for a brand new lollipop . Last time I ebayed nappies, I got loads - I was selling bambino mio wraps for £5+!!! I just wish they would let you sell used nappies! DO you think if we all sent ebay messages they would change it?

JennyPenny22 · 29/05/2009 09:30

There are some medium ittis on ukpl for those that wanted them - £8.

ceb80 · 29/05/2009 12:51

Jen that's really kind, have posted to ask her what size the pawprint ones are. If they're not the right size can I have a Medium of yours please?

Also posted on the Itti thread on UKPL but just noticed that they are also on on CNT and lots of other people are after them too so don't think I'll be in luck.

I would have taken an itti or 2 if they were girly!

Got my UD fleece wrap today which is nice. Pinks and brown stripes. And got a girly WN wrap too.

I still haven't got my UD order from real nappy week - is it normal to take this long do you think?

cyteen · 29/05/2009 18:05

4andnotout yes the BBOS comes with insert. It's a fab nappy, not sure why I've never quite fallen in love with it...I know someone else will love it more than I, hence the sale

twoclimbingboys · 29/05/2009 18:06

No, that isn't normal for UD. I would e-mail amber and fiona - they are really nice and helpful. There is a huge delay on WN too at the moment (my order from them took a couple of days short of a month) - no sign of a credit crunch at either of those!

4andnotout · 29/05/2009 18:43

cyteen i'll take it then please, whats your pp? Im now off out to bingo (couple of hours without kids and dp yay!) but will pay when i get back

JennyPenny22 · 29/05/2009 20:23

I have emailed upsy daisy now and also lil stinkies, who I did an order with at the end of feb that STILL hasn't come through. Its so annoying as I ordered onesize pockets and we don't even use pockets anymore!! They did email me to say it was going to be a big delay, but they said 10th April! I emailed them weeks ago and they said it was going to be dispatched that week.

twoclimbingboys · 29/05/2009 20:33

surely lil stinkies should just refund you - did you pay through paypal? Especially if you aren't using pockets anymore.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 29/05/2009 20:47

jenny: I have no idea why it would look different to the other one you have! I had it at the same time as I had a WNNN and I thought the inserts looked very similar - tho maybe one is an older style and one newer? I really can't be sure. I bought it secondhand as a WNNN insert - and since I've had very few WN items, I'm certainly no expert on them. Sorry!

So how is everyone else? I've been meaning to say hello here for days, but life is just soooo busy! In fact, I did type a message earlier this week - but it didn't seem to work - and then hadn't the time to re-type it! Been having quite a time with Benjamin's eczema - he's got a really bad flare up on his arms (and just about every other possible place - nearly!) and very restless at nights. Thankfully Clement sleeps wonderfully at nights - tho sadly, it seems he's getting eczema too! It's fairly confined to his face/ears/neck, but he's already trying to scratch it! and he's only 7 weeks tomorrow!

If anyone is looking for any size medium funky/cute wraps for summer, let me know! I've got 2 WN wraps that are soft/furry animal prints (is it velboa fabric?) - one is black & white cow and the other is leopard, I think. And I've got a medium Blueberry wrap - lovely minkee circles print, I think it's lemon/green/blue colours. Amazingly, Clement can already fit into the medium WN wraps (not even on the smallest settings!) - however, he gets hot very easily and with the eczema, I need to keep him very cool. And I think the extra layer of minkee/fur is just making him too hot. So as lovely & cute as they are, I think I'll have to part with them. They are all in excellent/very good/nearly new condition. So let me know if anyone is interested and wants to know more.

Did everyone else have nice weather today? It was just toooooo plain hot - and I'm from Texas! LOL

twoclimbingboys · 29/05/2009 21:19

Hi Rachel - how was the holiday in Yorkshire? Sorry to hear that Clement and Benjamin are suffering with eczema. My DH occasionally suffers with it - can you use oliatum in baths for tots and babies? That really helps Pete.

I am selling quite a bit at the moment - a babybufters night nappy with matching inserts (all black and the outer has strawberries on), 2 XL new style Ella's house bumhuggers, size 3 tots bots fleece spotted wrap, size 3 nature babies cream fleece wrap, motherease training pants. I will also throw in a little lambs pul wrap, that has only be worn once.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 29/05/2009 21:25

Yes, had a lovely holiday. Though came home with exhausted children from lack of normal routine and late nights. And also very hard water there, which I hope didn't make the eczema worse for Benjamin. Anyway, was very nice to get away and have a break.

JennyPenny22 · 29/05/2009 21:33

Rachel - don't worry, just thought I would ask incase you knew. I will give it a go tomorrow night in my WNNN but will just add extra boosters just incase. (I have to boost all nappies anyway). It is just so much smaller/Thinner than the other one? Oh well, we will see!

TCB - what are Babybufters night nappies like? Are they any good for heavy wetters?

twoclimbingboys · 29/05/2009 21:47

Jenny - it is cotton so I can't imagine it's particularly absorbent? It would be ample for Blake but he isn't too heavy wetting really. I have to admit I haven't used it, I think Rachel (or someone else on here) had recommended them. A few days later I saw it on cnt for £5 posted and it is really cute strawberry print. DH is usually laid back and I get my own way, so when he objected to it being girly I respected his wishes and haven't used it!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 29/05/2009 21:55

I find BabyBufters very very absorbant - but then again, they are huge/bulky nappies! But certainly work very well for Benjamin - often lots of the nappy still dry, and never had a leak yet! Very thirty cotton!

JennyPenny22 · 29/05/2009 21:56

TCB - thanks for being honest. TBH we are trying to get rid of all our cotton nappies!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 29/05/2009 21:57

We have 4 Babybufters, together with 2 Holden's Landing Bedbugs - and that's night nappies for us! No fleece lining, so work well for Benjamin.

4andnotout · 29/05/2009 22:14

twoclimbingboys how much are you asking for it as i would definately be interested

twoclimbingboys · 29/05/2009 22:33

Hi 4 - the £5 posted that I paid.

4andnotout · 29/05/2009 22:35

Go on then i should have your pp, it begins with a v?

twoclimbingboys · 29/05/2009 22:47

Great - yes its vikki underscore higham ...

4andnotout · 29/05/2009 22:59

Sent it through

JennyPenny22 · 29/05/2009 23:49

Looking at some BBHs - do you think £15 plus post is an OK price for 2 preloved? I want more of them but not sure how much to pay?

twoclimbingboys · 30/05/2009 08:13

That seems steep, I think people are asking daft amounts as they know you can't buy them new at the moment & hardly any get sold preloved. I sold mine for what I had paid for them - £13 including postage and they were in excellent condition.

4andnotout · 30/05/2009 08:44

I think the most i have paid is £14 delivered for two which i thought was steep! I'm looking for more too, i have 5 or 6 which is technically enough as i wash nearly every day, but you know what it's like when you find a nappy that works....
