4 - easyfit is here and on bum. It is much softer than the new one I sent back so maybe I should have kept that other one and washed it. I like! Thank you!

4andnotout · 12/05/2009 07:57

tree im gad it got to you ok and that you like it Still have the purple, orange and green for sale if anyone is interested and large blueberry wraps (sapphire, cheetah, butternut) and mediums (pink and sage, cow)
I tried a size 1 flexiwrap and love it, dd4 isn't growing very fast and looks as if she will stay petite so may get some more size 1's rather than wrapping size 2's round her twice!

JennyPenny22 · 12/05/2009 08:23

Tree - I think you maybe had a dodgy one before as mine wasn't hard, even when brand new.

I went to do my nappy washing yesterday, which was less than 2 days worth and couldn't fit it in! So have got half of it to put on this morning, when DD1 gets up (so I can wash night nappies too). So will definatly have to make sure I wash every day.

Tried a berryplush on dd2 yesterday. It is so lovely and soft. It leaked everywhere, but I am not sure if it had even been prewashed so I am not worried yet. Does anybody know how absorbant they are for older children? Would love to try a large on dd1 but not sure if it would be much good for a heavy wetter? dd2s says I think something like 90% hemp and then toped with 10% cotton, which sounds like a good combo to me.

I am selling a cow BBOS if anybody is interested? I have 2 of these so its going to be the first one to go . No stains or anything and GUC. Can do with or without insert.

JennyPenny22 · 12/05/2009 16:08

Ermm...Maybe £13? I don't really know, do you think that is reasonable? I am not very good at knowing what to charge for things for sale!

JennyPenny22 · 13/05/2009 20:01

Where has everybody gone?

TheNatty · 13/05/2009 20:08

twoclimbingboys · 13/05/2009 20:58

Hi ladies - just got in from work. 10/11 hour days monday, tuesday and wednesday so i'm not on here.

swampster · 13/05/2009 21:20

I am just lurking. Since I discovered Sugar Peas I have been in Nappy Heaven. I think my quest is at its end (for now!).

treedelivery · 13/05/2009 21:30

I'm around. Just doing the nappy thang. loving it!

Everyone ill here - sore throats and all that. Ace.

Off to look at sugar peas

JennyPenny22 · 13/05/2009 21:32

What sugar peas have you got swampster?

Talia is now in wool during the day and I love it. She only had one soaker at the moment but I am going to get more when I have funds. I also have a few she will grow into in a few weeks.

I have some gorgeous newborn wool longies but I think I am going to have to sell them . I just don't want to use longies TBH as she is so comfy in a baby grow and vest - it seems silly to put her in longies and a t-shirt while she is so tiny, and I wouldn't be able to use vests so would then need other layers etc so I just think I will sell them on now, while they are still brand new. Shame though as they are really lovely.

I REALLY need to get rid of some nappies! I am feeling so bad about the amount we have - litterally hundreds, they are taking over my house! But I just never know what to sell and what to keep! I keep changing my mind about MEOS - I was set on selling them 2 days ago and then ELouise has been wearing them ever since! They last longer than a pocket with bamboo and hemp and are very reliable under a good wrap, and they don't seem to sell well preloved! I have a few brand new ones I am going to put on ebay though, and some brand new small sandys (I am keeping my used ones for Talia but have plenty).

I am going to see if I can sell my BBOS. I don't want to, but then I can get some nice Wool with the money - and looks like we need a new night time arrangement too . I have:
2 x cow print
1 x Zebra print
1 x Tanzanite (purple see www.babykind.co.uk/blueberryISminkionesizeorder.php

I also want to see my Greenkids:
1 green anytimes
1 white anytimes
1 girraffe minkitimes

Open to offers on anything

I am pretty sure I am going to become a nappy advisor when things have settled down a bit here.

swampster · 13/05/2009 21:41

Right now I'm using a small blue Sugar Peas fleece wrap with the lovely snap-in inserts. I have medium and large wool and medium fleece too - the mediums fit already as well. They are gorgeous!

swampster · 13/05/2009 21:42

I think I prefer fleece to wool - it can take a bit of a hammering.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 13/05/2009 21:43

Ah, but you haven't tried the BBH Minkie

swampster · 13/05/2009 21:46

I have TRIED it - one of them has even been weed in. But I was VERY restrained and got mediums instead of smalls so I have a bit of a wait

Hello, Dog!

JennyPenny22 · 13/05/2009 22:00

I don't get fleece. I have only tried it on DD2 who is still tiny and we are using it when clean at night times. I love the fact it is very quick to dry BUT I find it leaks quite a bit? Works well over our BBH but that is because the BBH doesn't get that wet - where as a bamboozle or a lollipop bamboo or something, is pretty wet after her 6 hour night (midnight till 6am). So then the fleece leaks it through? Only so that her clothes feel damp, rather than an actual wet patch but still not ideal? Still trying to go on with it though.

Sorry Natty - I do have MSN messanger - do you still have my email? If not, do you want to CAT me? I don't like putting my email address on here as I am sure that is what has started my never ending junk mail.

TheNatty · 13/05/2009 22:09

Hi Natty,

Could you please pop in the post the Bum Genius I sent you? Cheers!

twoclimbingboys · 13/05/2009 22:14

swampster - I totally aagree. My problem with wool is just that I love fleece I think iykwim? I shove fleece in any load washing (with or without fabric conditioner), it can go on radiators, be hot washed if smeared in food and no lanolising! I am still jealous of the sugar peas fleece though - lol!

swampster · 13/05/2009 22:16

Yup - if they hadn't cost so damn much I'd be selling my wool ones.

JennyPenny22 · 13/05/2009 22:36

Natty - how about £6 posted? I doesn't have an insert - is that ok?. It is a lovely nappy though! Probaby my fav pattern and will be very sad to see it go!

JennyPenny22 · 13/05/2009 22:39

have added you to MSN I think!

I also have facebook if anybody is on there? Jennifer Webb if anybody wants to add me. Lol

JennyPenny22 · 13/05/2009 23:57

Natty, I know you are probably in bed now. When you see this though, can you let me know about the GK as I have had somebody from UKPL contact me about them. I don't mind either way.

I hold you guys resposible for me now wanting a fleece wrap for Elouise to try out! Lol. I have replied about a pink UD fleece wrap for £5 - is that good? For a large? I looks very pretty so hoping I get it.

twoclimbingboys · 14/05/2009 08:50

That sounds like a good price to me. The UD ones are like the WN - as in they both seem thicker than the tots fleece, so will be better for a heavy wetter I think.
