2 nappy issues - 2!!

AN airflow leaked this am. Poo, but still. Our first unexpected leak.

Have dd in a one size weenotions pocket [2nd hand of course] but it feels clammy and damp al over and more at legs.

Are they rubbish or is this ols and loosing it's waterproofing?

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/05/2009 17:26

I am selling a small stacinator wool wrap if anybody is interested?

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/05/2009 17:46

Tree - what was the airflow over? And where did it leak?

Not sure about the WN I am afraid, but I think they have a good reputation on the whole. I have a couple of WN wraps and get on well with them over a good nappy.

Pink and red. Completely by accident. Though it was very nearly orchid and latte ( purple and natural ) by accident. Things will be much easier if they don't fit/take two weeks to dry/can't be operated by dh.

Sorry about the nappy issues. Hopefully they will be rare glitches.

dd has the squits. I keep telling myself that if dd was in diposables things would be much much worse. At least it's only nappies that I'm hurling in the washing machine for the 3rd time today.

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/05/2009 18:06

My DD has an upset tummy too afterglow, and dd2 is newborn so BF poo. I actually find it easier than when she doesn't have an upset tummy, as usually her poo is squishy and hard to get out. As long as you do a rinse cycle before your wash, it all should be fine.

treedelivery · 04/05/2009 18:07

Yeah, but you know they will be great and then you'll need the 2 others.....

Airflow leaked poo from the leg, from a lollipop micro. A new event as that is the night time combo. Apparently it was a squirty monster poo though so perhaps nothing would have handled it!

Sorry dd has squirts.

Hiya everyone

Have spent another weekend in the tent so was using sposies whilst away but they were straight back into cloth as soon as we got home!

rusmum i posted your wrap on friday so hopefully you should get it tommorow.

soon can you email me your address again and i can pop the booster in the post to you.

thenatty i still need your address to post your parcel

I have only got one parcel due and thats the bbh from rusmum, other than that i have been really good and resisted all temptation

Having a panic in the household tonight as dp swears he packed dd2's ds into the car when we went away on friday but now no-one can find it

Oh and im battered and bruised as i fell down the stairs on friday and landed right ontop of the stairgate which cut into my stomach and has left a HUGE bruise! Luckily being a fatty it only punctured flesh but if i'd have been skinny it could have done some real damage!

TheNatty · 04/05/2009 20:17

twoclimbingboys · 04/05/2009 21:22

ouch 4!

rusmum - nappy buying is horribly addictive isn't it? I have made 5 separate orders with upsy daisy in a week

thebluefoxategreensocks · 04/05/2009 21:57

soon: Hope I'm not being blamed for your big UD shopping spree! LOL

Yes, still have the WN insert for you (need to find it in one of 4 buckets of nappies in the corner of my room (which isn't even all of my nappy stash) but it will be there somewhere!

ooh small Stacinator wool wrap! What colour? is it in OK condition? and how much do you want for it? Depending on how much you want to sell it for, and if it's a colour I want/etc, could maybe do a partial swap with the WN insert?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 04/05/2009 22:00

...tho I've been telling myself all day that I really must stop myself from continuing to look at nappies for sale - and must stop buying them (and probably wool should be included too! ) but nappies & wool are just toooo addictive! Think I really must find a Cloth Nappies Anonymous to join! Anyone gonna start one?

treedelivery · 04/05/2009 22:45

Nope. I have a problem and I like it

soon2befamilyof4 · 05/05/2009 00:53

Well I have 2 small stacinators and wanted to sell at least one, possibly both. They are a bit boyish for us - one blue and one green. I will have to dig them out tomorrow to see what condition they are in. They are certainly fine quality wise but I have got to check for stains etc. They are preloved, but not by me so can't comment on what they are like. If they were girly we would be keeping them. We have some nice girly wool so it is silly keeping these as well really as they wont really be used. I am happy to swap, will save my credit card from another paypal spend! .

Anybody using cloth san pro? I have 2 pads that I have just started using and I am convinced now. I didn't think I would like it but I do. Even postnatally they are doing a better job than normal sanitary towels. And they are SOOO much more comfy. Nice soft fleece/minky topped intead of paper crap. I have ordered some more from Upsey daisy along with the nappies. I wash nappies everyday now so that wont be a problem, will just shove in the nappy bucket which is in the bathroom anyway. So I am hoping to convert completly. I think I need something like this to start buying as we have so many nappies, we don't even have anywhere to store them all! We must have 200-300nappies now, NOT including prefolds . You wouldn't think we are actually skint and struggle to pay the bills!

I am thinking about selling my tots size 0 fleece wrap if you are interested Rachel? If nobody on here wants it I wil wait till Talia grows out of it, but I am not keen on the bulk of it so used it once to try and it has sat with my clean washing ever since. In fact, if anybody needs anything newborn, let me know as we have LOADS so although I won't bother to advertise it till after Talia grows out of them, I am sure I will manage to part with some and it will give me some more money!

Have just been to A&E with DD2. Nothing major but she has a bad rash and was breathing really funny so didn't want to risk it. All fine though.

JennyPenny22 · 05/05/2009 01:33

Just testing out name change! It is SOON here, but my name needed updating. It is now almost the same as my CNT name so it is easier to combine the 2! I was suprised that lots of combinations of JennyPenny were already taken . So I have added 22 - my age.

Will look at wool wrap when I go up to bed and let you know in the morning what it is like. How much was it you were asking for the WN insert? I can't remember?

4andnotout · 05/05/2009 10:11

Morning all

i'm debating selling all of my coloured tots aios, i need to raise some funds so those and the blueberry wraps are the least used of the stash so thet may be for the chop!

JennyPenny22 · 05/05/2009 10:45

4 Are they the tots bots onesize AIO? Bamboo? What colours and how much you looking for??? I REALLY can't afford anything else, but I do love my tots AIO. Although saying that, I was thinking yesterday how it was probably my fav nappy, then I forgot to change Talia {bad mummy I know!} and she leaked wee from it which I was a bit disapointed with TBH. To be fair, it was about 6 hours she was in it for, but surely at 10 days old she shouldn't be out weeing it? It isn't tight round the legs but the inside was absolutly soaked, and surely it should be more absorbant than that? It is the bamboo one too! It didn't have the removable booster but surely at 10 days they should be able to get away with it? I usually use a BG with those bamboo inserts I got from you and they are fine for her.

4andnotout · 05/05/2009 10:47

I have yellow, orange, blue, purple and green, they are the fluffle inner, would be thinking of about £8 posted each? They are the onesize aio

4andnotout · 05/05/2009 10:49

oh and i would recommend using the booster as otherwise it is just 2 layers of fabric with hardly any absorbancy.

4andnotout · 05/05/2009 11:49

Now uploading pictures of the tots and bb wraps here

treedelivery · 05/05/2009 12:27

Can I try one? I did get one but it was too hard around legs I found, so be interested to try a loved one.
Blue stars please!
