Tree, I am wanting to try a Thirsties aio now that I keep reading how much you love them... What are they like inside - plain white with the filling sewn in, or does anything need to be poppered?

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/05/2009 18:10

Tree, I am fine now..well I am getting there. The bag being stolen really knocked me for six even though everything was replaced. But i can only assume this bout of depression was there waiting for an excuse or maybe i was just hiding it iyswim?

treedelivery · 03/05/2009 18:59

TLE - so £5 then if they were empty?
Not an excuse, a trigger. And fair enough.

Afterglow - the thirsties plain white soft fleecy, almost velour. Sewn in microfibre. But they also seem to have an opening for boosting - although I haven't tried it and this may be unofficial.

There area some on usednappies at the mo if you want to go for it!

On the plus side it wasnt my accident and i have my £ back- BUT have NO size 2 nappies?? HELP!!

treedelivery · 03/05/2009 21:05

omg! What happened?

What do you need? Maybe nappyzone could rush out an order?

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/05/2009 21:11

Rus, I have lots of size 2 nappies, Zachary doesnt fit them all because of his shape (belly) so let me know what you need/want

rusmum · 03/05/2009 21:25

apparently she dropped the parcel in a bucket of hot water and lanolin?????

What ever happened it means i am not getting them and i have already got rid of everything else! nightmare- lol Got my ££ back though so cant complain!!!!! (much!)

Needing size 2 pretty wraps and ??? (liked sandys but not sure what else to try now)?

Nappyzoneisabeetrootrunner · 03/05/2009 21:29

rusmum im trying to follow this - what? who dropped what in a bucket of water and lanolin - used nappies or brand spanking ittis???? I have itti stock arriving Tue if it helps.... which it probably wont....

rusmum · 03/05/2009 21:36

i bought 7 ittis EEEUC- she packed them up and put on the side and her DH knocked them in a bucket of lanolin/water- tradgedy!!

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/05/2009 21:38

Rus, I have some tots and various others any help to you?

Nappyzoneisabeetrootrunner · 03/05/2009 21:38

omg

treedelivery · 03/05/2009 22:35

Omg

I dunno, I feel sorry for you rus, but the thought of those ruined nappies.....

Just buy more lovely itti's - they can be with you Wed. Maybe you deserve a few more as a consolation prize

I've only got fur balls [size 2 fluffles] which you are totally welcome too. I have 2 day packs with a wrap in. I dunno about them though - they look like monster nappies!

twoclimbingboys · 03/05/2009 23:28

sorry rus - what a shame. Quick treat yourself to something before the RNW offers finish.

tree - lol at the furballs . I love fluffles but they do limit Blake's wardrobe for the day as they are so large. I kept 4 of mine though as they dry so quickly and can be easily boosted for nights (both mine are in them tonight).

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/05/2009 00:02

I THINK I have a spare wonderoos that I was planning to sell? I know I sold 2 of mine but think I still have a used one if you were interested? If you are, let me know and I will see if I can find it. No even sure on colour - I think it was blue. We don't get on with wonderoos. Could sell or swap?

I am thinking about using my newborn longies, but the thing that puts me off is then having to use t-shirts instead of babygrows, and not being able to use vests? Hadn't really thought of that when I bought them!

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/05/2009 00:12

OH DEAR! I jsut spent £82 on Upsey Daisy nappy stuff! I am in trouble now with DH! I only wanted to buy a nigh booster for then UDNN I bought from Rachel!

I NEED to sells some stuff now! This is rediculous! Any ideas what sort of age babies grow out of size 1 nappies? I know there is no one answer but I am just thinking for a rough idea?

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/05/2009 00:14

And rus, I feel sorry for you and your lack of nappies. Although at least you got your money back! Think how the seller feels as she is now minus the funds AND has ruined ittis!

rusmum · 04/05/2009 07:10

liking the thinking about buying extra as compensation! LOL

Fancy trying fluffles actually!!!

And of course now need to find moreittis!!!

treedelivery · 04/05/2009 11:02

oh blimey I have fluffles. 10 of the buggers. They take up nearly as much space as her clothes!! I'll sell you a day pack with pleasuuuuuure. Or one to try. You'd need to be in, this baby won't fit through the letterbox.

soon2befamilyof4 · 04/05/2009 13:11

I am going to sell a swaddlebees large pocket and large swaddlebees shaped if anybody here wants first choice? Open to offers/swaps etc? They don't seem to be a very good fit on Elouise and not going to bother keeping it to try out when Talia is big enough - we have enough other nappies!

Does anybody use happy heiny pockets? I have one and I was going to try it on Talia today, but have just been reading really bad reviews on them? They seem lovely and trim etc? These were quite old reviews so maybe it has changed. I think I will try it while we are at home.

afterglow · 04/05/2009 13:21

oh no rusmum. And how awful must the seller feel too, bet her husband will never be able to complain about how much she spends on nappies again. You could have more ittis by Wednesday though. Does your local council do trial packs? If so you could try begging for a short loan.

Soon, I think size 1 goes up to 18-20lbs ish, which I think is 7-9months ish. dd was just out of size 1 at 11months, and she's a tiddler.

afterglow · 04/05/2009 13:25

Thanks Tree, I do fancy the thirsties aio, but they have a v2 on the US website and I have just accidentally ordered two of the magic-all minkee aios. I didn't like all the bits in itti bittis, but loved the outers, so these could be the answer.

I did look on usednappies, they have large ones and I'd need a medium. Curses. I wish I'd started dd in cloth nappies earlier, so many lovely nappies and so little time.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 04/05/2009 13:33
