Must do free nappy thing

Hello TLE - hope you are ok my dear, sorry you have had a rough time. Do you want to keep mine or post back? Was it 2/3 wonderoo's? Can't remember now!

treedelivery · 02/05/2009 11:21

Fluffy ppost!!

Thirsties AIO - it's med so a bit big so wont judge if it leaks. It is sooooo soft against her skin, softest yet. My first all in one - how easy are they? Just stick them on, be great for someone who wanted to try a washable but was using dispos. Its microfibre so I think it will dry very fast, but will need boosting I reckon.
The cunning devils have made it aio, but there is a pocket too for extra. fabbo.

oooh tree that sounds nice!

soon am due mid july, having baby around begining of july tho.
i have 24 muslins and 7 or 8 wraps, so i think im ok, if i run out between washes i will stick a disposable on as i have a pack and people will more then likely buy some like they did for ellen! suppose i should use them up if i have them.

i saw someone mention a free nappy.. what have i missed.. free? where?
thats my fav type of nappy.. lol!

twoclimbingboys · 02/05/2009 13:50

It hasn't been washed yet but is lovely and soft like a cotton tots but bulkier at the moment and just seems a bit nicer somehow. The fleece liner is thicker than the others I have and the wrap is gusseted - both parts are applix.

soon2befamilyof4 · 02/05/2009 22:19

No, I am STIILL waiting for my lil stinkies. Has been a long time now. BUT to be fair, they did email me to warn me about the delay and offered a refund. They apparently will arrive any day now.

Tried out a few nipper fastening nappies today and I am getting used to them. The nappies seem to do the trick, despite being very basic! Still haven't had a single nappy leak - not even poo on a wrap. Yet we have had 3 leaks in sposies. I keep forgetting to get the pretty wraps out of DDs room! I always remember at times like now when she is in bed. So just using the tots bots wrap.

I think my favourite nappy so far for a newborn is the tots AIO! I have the bamboo one, but use without the removeable booster thing. I have only used it once so far though but will use again when it is dry.

Does anybody have a particular routine with washing? I know I am going to need to do at least one load a day now, which I can't quite get my head around. I tried to do the nappy washing yesterday after 2 days and had to split it into 2 loads! To be honest, I think I might even have to do 3 loads a day! . We need to do a nappy wash once a day, which is the easiest wash as I just use those peg things from poundland (the plastic round things that have lots of pegs hanging down) and I hang them outside if nice or over the bath on the shower curtain rail if not nice/over night. Just don't know how I am going to fit it all in the day! Unless I start using the tumble dryer for one load which I don't really want to do because of bills etc.

treedelivery · 02/05/2009 22:21

Can report Thirstie AIO a triumph, I really like it. Just the wash and dry test to go.

Forgo to change Hatts today and her small itti coped for 4 hours. I'd say thats pretty brillliant! Only remembered when it nearly fell off

Am getting a fluffy freebie I think - the cotton would turn to board here in this water

soon2befamilyof4 · 02/05/2009 23:40

Oh meant to say, I used a bamboozle size 1 last night and thought it was pretty good. Talia is a good sleeper - bit too good for her age so needs a good nappy for nights really and the bamboozle is perfect really. Shame I think I only have 1!

treedelivery · 03/05/2009 00:03

Soon - check out LenniEd reusable for sale posting

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/05/2009 08:26

Tree, I will keep your nappies as I love the ones you sent they are great for Zachary...an aio which is absorbant enough for him. wooohoooo

treedelivery · 03/05/2009 11:32

Can't remember what I sent you Was it 2 lilac and a pink wonderoo?

soon2befamilyof4 · 03/05/2009 12:16

Tree, thanks for the tip about that but TBH I think I need to stop buying nappies for Talia till she grows out of some as we have loads now. Unless I saw some really cheap of course!

I think I owe money to 4 and Rachel? 4 for the MEOS booster and I THINK it was Rachel who was saving the insert for the WNNN for me?

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/05/2009 12:31

Tree it certainly was!!! and the pink one looks gorgeous on him i am going to add a photo of him on the facebook page where he was playing in a friends garden the other night in nothing but his pink nappy and sandels/

treedelivery · 03/05/2009 12:53

Aw bless him! Too cute in their fluff aren't they.

Hatts spent yesterday lording it up in her red itti and a wrap over white top. With a big floppy flowery sunhat. Looked a star.

So how much do preloved wonderoo's cost!!?? No idea what I paid.

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/05/2009 15:45

Tree I have no idea! I just love them and need to get some more.

twoclimbingboys · 03/05/2009 15:55

TLES - i'm glad i'm not the only one now who loves wonderoos. The orange and royal blue are my favourite colours but seaspray is lovely too.

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/05/2009 15:57

There are a few pics on my profile of Zachary in his lovely pink wonderoo.

Two, I so need to get some more asap!! they are excellent for him.

treedelivery · 03/05/2009 16:14

Cutie!!

What do you think? £6.00 each? Did I put inserts in? God where is my brain?
There are some for £6.50 on theusednappy website listed umder hiphipbaby.

But am happy to take them back, not fussed if they are more used/stained etc. You know that chuck.

treedelivery · 03/05/2009 16:33

If anyone thinks this is too much please say - I'm crap at this sort of thing!

TheLadyEvenstar · 03/05/2009 17:46

Tree, you will have to fight me for them if you want them back!! There were no inserts....I would say if there were!!! But I love love love them anyways!!!

I will pay you on Wednesday if thats ok?

I also have a load of tots bots newbrn ones i think they are, they are very diddy!!!

treedelivery · 03/05/2009 18:01
