thats good about the mothercare in croydon, i just moved from there and have had to make do with no shops that sell cloth round here. boots sell disposable liners too

4 did you ssee my message about wanting your liners?

soon2befamilyof4 · 16/04/2009 16:05

Yes boots sell liners but I THINK they are not flushable. They are nice and soft though.

notcitrus - please feel free to sell on to somebody else as I won't know if I need it for at least a week as I have just found out my parsel has been delayed. So maybe if you still have it in a week or 2, let me know? But TBH I think I should be able to make do with what I have got.

Notcitrus - are you new to the thread or have you namechanged? Or just not been on for a while?

soon2befamilyof4 · 16/04/2009 16:07

4 did you get your inserts today?

Anyone be interested in a bargain bundle of medium Itti Bitti nappies? Had too many impulse purchases while I was pregnant, and although I haven't used them yet, if I'm honest, I don't think I really will ever use them. I just really am a 2 part nappy person! I like big fluffy nappies and cute wraps or wool on top, so really no need/use to keep these sitting around!

This is what I have:

1 x Itti Bitti D'lish in bright yellow with inserts
1 x Itti Bitti Classic (is that what it's called - the ones that aren't furry - but work just the same as the D'lish ones) in dark purple/blue with inserts
2 x Itti Bitti Classic without inserts (just need to buy the snap in inserts, or put your own stuffing inside) - one is a seaspray sort of green and the other is more an aqua blue

So, total of 4 outers and 2 sets of inserts. The insides of the classic ones aren't quite bright white anymore, but no stains - the D'lish one is still lovely & bright white inside & soft outside. Inserts are nice & bright white too. Looking for £23 inc postage for the lot!

natty they are all yours Will sort out the nippasd and pins and let you know the cost of postage
rachelwould you sell the yellow itti seperate as i haven't got a yellow one?

soon2befamilyof4 · 16/04/2009 16:45

Oh ok - they should be with you tomorrow I would think. DH posted them so not sure what time they were sent or what class.

Does anybody know if there was a bit of a postage delay because of the easter bank holiday? I mean, with no post fri, sun, monday I thought there might be a bit of a backlog?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 16/04/2009 16:46

4: Will have a think about it and maybe wait to see if there are any takers for the bundle first, if that's OK. Ideally would like to clear them all out together, as I really don't like nappies sitting around that aren't going to be used!

4andnotout · 16/04/2009 16:54

soon i posted yours today 1st class so should be with you in the morning, we have had some delays in the post.

rachel no worries

notcitrus · 16/04/2009 17:08

soon2be - that's fine. Got loads of other stuff to flog atm so will leave it and give this thread first refusal when i get round to it.
i pop in on this thread occadionally - my pfb is now 7mo and producing new and exciting outputs instead of lovely (if liquidy) bf poo...

soon2befamilyof4 · 16/04/2009 17:44

Lol, ok. Just didn't recongnise your name.

Rachel - I am going to do some lanolising tonight - do you know if it needs to be exactly 12 hours? Ie if I put in all in to soak tonight - would it matter too much if I didn't get a chance to deal with it in the morning?

I have loads of lovely woolies sitting here and want to use them tonight! But need to lanolise first!

treedelivery · 16/04/2009 18:06

OKaaaaay...am now really wanting those nappies Rache!

Haven't seen the classics though - off to research them or get a look at some.

treedelivery · 16/04/2009 18:08

...Oh....you have pics.....Doh!

TheNatty · 16/04/2009 18:32

lol tempted by the ittis, but must resist!!

i want some more bbos.. keep an eye out for me guys

ellen gone to bed in her WNNN, i am growing to love that nappy more and more, much more then the ellas house. i must get a few more. do you think they would make me a XL toddler one for tom if i asked?

twoclimbingboys · 16/04/2009 18:48

TheNatty - I e-mailed Wee Notions and asked them. Suzanne said she would look into it and get back to me. I would love XLs for Toby. That was quite a few weeks ago and I still haven't heard from them.

treedelivery · 16/04/2009 19:03

I heard mention of paper liners - I seem to have lots around. Does anyone want them? I'll dig out if yes.

TheNatty · 16/04/2009 19:46

yes yes tree!!

TheNatty · 16/04/2009 19:48

i am overwhelmed with the kindness on mumsnet at times, im getting proper hormonal now, wish i had this place when i was expecting my first.

TBC - if you get a responce from them will you let me know

soon2befamilyof4 · 16/04/2009 19:56

Can somebody tell me more about WNNN? I have one, but I THINK it is old style and has no inserts. So TBH although I don't get on with it that well, I feel like I haven't given it a chance because I don't have it all iyswim? I currently use 3 easy peasy hemp and a pettis dessous bamboo insert (if you don't have one it is a long insert that doubles over). and it is soaked through in the morning (although usually is contained in the wrap so still leak free). With these it is about twice the size of my UDNN. If I had the proper inserts do you think it would be much better? How bulky is it? Do you think it is as absorbant as the 3 EP hemp and double bamboo?

treedelivery · 16/04/2009 20:02

Will see what I have

TheNatty · 16/04/2009 20:03

soon i dont know what they are made out off, i think mine is bamboo, but i have the insert that has a poppered booster thing.
they are bulky, but becasue of the fit and material its sort of squashy, so ellen is actually more comfy in it then in her BH.

they are pretty thirsty, ive started sticking a very small hemp booster in it too just to have it damp rather then wet.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 16/04/2009 20:03

soon: I actually have a bamboo WN insert - tho not sure if it's a medium or large size one. The tri-fold cloth with poppered insert as well. I bought it on its own when I was trying out various night nappies but haven't even used it myself. Don't know if it would be any use to you?

4andnotout · 16/04/2009 20:22

Evening all

Natty have found 1 white & 1 blue nippa, loads of pins and the 2 lots of liners, i will have to take it the p.o to have weighed as my scales are well out! I should imagine it will be about £3.00ish postage but will let you know the definate amount tommorow.

Have just finished putting nappies back together after the wash and thought i'd take a piccy or two These are some of my daytime bbos and itti's, some are in the wash and i have 3 more tots aio's in the post

twoclimbingboys · 16/04/2009 20:25

The WNNNs inserts that I have are trifold bamboo towelling and the snap in is hemp. I find them very absorbent. Blake only needs the trifold part and I use the snap in parts in wonderoos.

twoclimbingboys · 16/04/2009 20:27

4 - your stash looks really colourful!

soon2befamilyof4 · 16/04/2009 20:30

Cant pay for ANYTHING till I have sold more and I am strictly using paypal funds only as I have just spend £150 on nappies on the credit card which I haven't told DH about yet.

How much did you want for it? I might be able to buy it in a while when I have the funds.

Although TBH - if it is bulky and still needs to be boosted, I might be better off with my UDNN which are slim fitting as well as soft and comfy. I just basically don't know if I should sell the WNNN or not. I put it up for sale before and had loads of interest but the lady who was buying it pulled out after me holding it for her for ages. I wonder though if I might as well keep it - at least until the new baby is in washables so I will be washing more often? I have 3 UDNN which is what I use as long as they are clean and dry and also a BBH and the WNNN which I use on days where I don't have a clean UDNN. If I wash everyday then I think I could get away with just having the UDNN and then the BBH for emergencies? I have to boost the BHH but thats not too bad.
