howdy everyone else.. got some diddy newborn wraps in the post today to use with my muslins in hospital and first week or so, simpler to use and dh cant bugger up washing them, plus any horrendous mecconium ones caan be binned.

so i might actually be nearly sorted for nappies, esp with ellen spending about 60% of the time naked so she is only using like 2-3 nappies a day instead of 6.

oh daisy no i wont, esp now i know its a boy, i will be sneaking in some BBOS and other fluffy ones (i really fancy some lil stinkies!)
but they are expensive luxury nappies, that i dont NEED as i have enough to just get by, so will prob try not to spend the money just yet.
might reward myself when i get the pregnancy grant through

TLES: Sorry I wasn't around earlier when you were looking for nappies - busy with my newest addition, and the 2 toddlers! Glad you should be sorted though. Must be so annoyed at loosing the phone & camera tho!

How's everyone else? My little boy is still wanting to feed all the time - he's quite content during the day, but just screams all evening unless he's being fed. Cuddles aren't even good enough - just wants to drink loads of mummy's milk non-stop! My milk came in last night, and he's got a very abundant supply...but still not settling very well this evening. Though he did sleep from soon after midnight last night till nearly 6am, so that's not too bad. Oh well, hope he settles soon.

Natty - I was talking to my MW today and she said not to expect the health in pregnancy grant anytime soon. She said they are not starting processing them yet so will have a major backlog. I am due next week and she said I probably won't get the money for months!!

I am defo buying that huge nappy bundle so will have major fluffy post soon! Will probably have some that I don't want so will sell on.

That is also me well and truly sorted for nappies .

I am still looking for more hemo and bamboo inserts though - but that isn't very interesting and I am getting frustrated by not finding what I want preloved! I love PD inserts but they are expensive brand new and we then use it along with a hemp insert so altogether the insert is more expensive than the nappy! I am trying out hemp with MF this week as if we can make that work it is a lot cheaper.

i just got sent a load of newborn wraps, two small slinki minkis and some tots bots size 1 off one of the girls on my post natal groups (ellens one) totally for free. isnt that nice?
so i think im going to use muslins for first few weeks if baby too small, with all my small wraps i should be sorted.
anyone got any unused nippas or pins you wanna sell me?

By the way - I was told my baby is at least 7 and a half to 8lb already - so decided against spending more money on XS sandys! Bit shocked considering DD was 6lb 6! lol
Was up all night with contractions but all stopped today - possible waters leaking too. Due 1 week today.

FLUFFY POST ARRIVED

Thankyou all soooooooo soooooooo much. Zachary looks gorgeous in the pink nappy hee hee....i must get a photo later today!!! as soon as he stays still lol. I had to use 1 straight away as the others are in the dryer so i had the perfect excuse heehee....
