BBM - glad I'm not the only one! I had enough the other day with dd crying in my arms all day cos of colics, and ds being a lively 4yo, so told him I was going to sell him at tesco's , he said I couldn't cos he can't fit on the shelf cos he can't "go flat" ...

FullMoonHowler · 22/10/2008 10:25

, sorry, can't, so tempted by their sunflower soaker...

returnofrusmummy · 22/10/2008 11:33

BBM you got any M airflow then?????

lollipop dont worry at all. these things happen, we are not perfect. I feel like i am always losing temper with DD1 at moment ( 4 YO) and constantly feel bad but ia m so tired!!!!

They love us all the same, as we do them when they are 'testing'.

When DD1 was small I once left her in th eloo in tescos. Simply forgot i had her!!!!!

FullMoonHowler · 22/10/2008 12:51

yes, looked at their soakers, then thought I'd better close the window.

airflow's just arrived, thanks!

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 22/10/2008 13:07

Glad it arrived.

I'm watching about 10 pairs of their longies. It's a dangerous situation - the DCs have had me up all night and DH has gone away this morning so I have no-one to peer over my shoulder at tut loudly as I browse. I've already bought a pocket bot today.......

babyjjbaby · 22/10/2008 13:19

oh have u let us know what it is like lol

LackaDAISYcal · 22/10/2008 13:28

tots bargains at The Clean Green Nappy Machine

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 22/10/2008 13:30

Hello Lacks! How goes it?

LackaDAISYcal · 22/10/2008 14:58

hey BBM...sorry, posted and run as I've been sorting out my birth plan and catching up on paperwork.

Same old same old here.....I think I'm in for the long haul with a very protracted pre-labour thing going on....pesky third babies!

Can't believe that technically it could be another four weeks!

babyjjbaby · 22/10/2008 15:00

bbm what can i do to get stains out of thos tots bot was thinking a 60 wash with napisan and washing gel and a line dry if it is sunny will that shift breast fed baby poo i am trying to find out what will be best to shift it

babyjjbaby · 22/10/2008 15:47

my bright orange nappies lol

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 22/10/2008 16:02

babyjj - not sure about the napisan. I know some people say it is good for stains but others disagree - you could try a Vanish product instead which some say works well. I've never used either possibly because we are right next to the sea so it gets very bright here - stains don't stand a chance!

I'd definitely wash with a full amount of powder detergent (you can always do an extra rinse if you needed to - but you probably won't need to) and definitely line dry them whatever the weather. Not quite sure what you mean by washing gel?

lacks hang in there! It'll all be over soon and you'll have another little one to cuddle . I won't say enjoy the peace and rest as much as possible - I was always rather when people said that when I had a 3yo and a 1yo to look after already . An old friend has just had her first baby, the baby is half asian and so has a load of thick black spikey hair - she is sooooo pretty and soooo tiny! Makes my DS look huuuuuggge

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 22/10/2008 16:04

very funky babyjj

babyjjbaby · 22/10/2008 16:06

ok will try napisan and then vanish

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 22/10/2008 16:08

you do use powder not liquid detergent don't you?

babyjjbaby · 22/10/2008 16:11

no use washer balls mainly but do use that new ariel washing gel

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 22/10/2008 16:18

ah....if you can get a small amount of powder just for this you'll get better results - the liquid doesn't have the bleaching agents you need (or at least liquids usually don't, I don't know about that one).

babyjjbaby · 22/10/2008 16:25

ok i will have a look

ilovemydog · 22/10/2008 19:53

essie - did you try and sell your nappies on ebay? They will remove it if they aren't new. Have you tried usednappies.co.uk ? And clothnappytree.co.uk

i've had success on both...
