Lollipop - she doesn't fit in that Sandy's anymore, she's on size small bamboo full-time ( my baby's growing so fast)! In fact, til 3 days ago she was on middle setting of xs airflow on legs (smallest on waist), then on smallest waist and legs of the small wrap, and today her thighs seem to have inflated overnight and she's on middle setting of the small airflow(if all this makes any sense... )

BBM - well, guess you guessed we're a Ferrari family, even DD was watching qualifying yesterday (guess the noise is quite soothing) - think my dad's got a ferrari gene (and all extended family), in fact he had DS subscribed to the Ferrari club back home basically before he was born ). Bet that if I found a nappy with a Ferrari logo, he'd do the changing (never did it with his 3 children). Supporting Felipe here, feel sorry for him, though, he's been so unlucky this year, hope they get they're act together and make that car more reliable for next year...

returnofrusmummy · 19/10/2008 21:39

at least i know i am doing it right. LOL

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 19/10/2008 22:02

howler - Well I'm guessing you would have been thinking I was a Lewis supporter but no.......I 'heart' Mark Webber (lots). I really like his attitude, he's fab. DH is a Filipe supporter though and was very sad today - so was I - I would love to see him take the title in Brazil . We met Felipe last year - he was lovely. DH has a signed Ferrari cap as a result . All DCs watched the entire race in this house - I think they think that is the norm, no cbeebies in our house. DD1 is 4.5 and supports Alonso - she had a strop because he wasn't on the podium (probably just like Alonso did )

yes, thought yours would have been a Lewis house... LOL, can imagine Alonso having a 4.5yo-like strop ... fingers crossed for Felipe, especially cos he had to give that race away last year...

btw, paypalled you last night, hope it got through.

FullMoonHowler · 19/10/2008 22:28

LackaDAISYcal · 20/10/2008 13:56

hello

not been on for ages, but thought I'd pop in and say Hi to all.

37.5 weeks now, but have a nasty D&V bug and have been getting quite scary contractions (I reallt thought I was starting last night). Am confined to the sofa by DH, who has taken time off work to look after me, and the DCs who have both got it and DD has a throat infection as well. I'm not calling my MW unless I absolutely have to as I don't want them saying go in and them keeping me there. Am drinking gallons to try and stave off the dehydration so fingers crossed it works and things calm down. I'm giving it till tomorrow and if no better, I'll call the MW or admissions unit then.

nappies are all ready and waiting for a new little bum

Off to try and catch up with some of the chat

lollipopmothershalloweenghost · 20/10/2008 14:02

Howler Elizabeth is on middle leg popper and smallest tummy popper of XS wrap and largest poppers of Sandy's. She was wearing the Sandy's my mum bought and they are soooooo much nicer than the ones I got, hers are new unbleached and mine were white hardly used, but you can really tell the difference.

I tried my brand new Bumhuggers the last 2 nights, cocked up the first night and didn't do the legs up tight enough and within 20mins DD had obliged with a lovely newborn poo explosion that caused a full change of clothes but the other 2 tries were successful and I love the fleece inner.

I just bought 20 boosters ofvarious types for the Sandy's as she wets thru them so quickly atm.

returnofrusmummy · 20/10/2008 14:05

lollipop give us an inventory of what you use now.

babyjjbaby · 20/10/2008 14:07

stop talikng bout sandys i really want one

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 20/10/2008 14:30

lacks - that is not good . What awful timing . I hope things improve soon.

Will catch up later - DD2 just fallen from the top of the stairs onto her head (not for the first time) so I'm off plan ahead for when her concussion sets off at 2am (she likes to keep me on my toes)

lollipopmothershalloweenghost · 20/10/2008 14:41

Feel lucky that you only want 1 BJJB, i WANT LOADS! What size are you wanting? Have you tried them before?

Rusmummy I currently use XS Sandys boosted for daytime (I have 10 x unbleached and 7 x white) but also use 2 x old quick flip (relatively bulky but more absorbant than XS Sandy's) and 2 original tots bots (very bulky).

For nights I use an Ella's House Bumhugger (have 3 x new style (lush!) and 1 x old (horrible to look at, v.well used when I bought it but does the job). If I run out then I use a despicable.

I use an XS Airflow with whichever nappy.

I have 2 x Fluffles and 5 x Kissaluvs, don't like the look of the Kissaluvs at all so haven't even tried her in them but they'll be too big anyway. Fluffles look lush but will be waaaay too bulky so haven't tried them yet. I have small Sandy's too but they're massive atm - I find small poppered nappies too big buy small velcro nappies seem ok!

On order I have:
2 x new Wonderoos
1 x used Wonderoos
2 x new, old-style Bumhuggers
4 x Nature Babies Loveables

babyjjbaby · 20/10/2008 14:46

i haven't tried them yet thats why i want one small one to try

lollipopmothershalloweenghost · 20/10/2008 15:07

BJJB I am happy to send you a small to try for a couple of weeks as long as you promise promise promise not to wreck it or steal it!

babyjjbaby · 20/10/2008 15:42

are u sure lol just for me to try and if i like it then i can get a couple i don't want to buy more than 2 cos i love my sqaures i still haven't listed them little ewes gona get me bum into gear tonight

FullMoonHowler · 20/10/2008 16:40

lollipop - the xs look so cute on they're so tiny, though, but she just goes through them in no time now. the new bamboo ones are "comfortable", but can go for hours... I use the airflow over everthing too, don't seem to get a good fit with velcro, the brand new xs rikki i bought with the xs sandy's has only been used once!

hopefully found some used hemp wonderoos, if the seller gets back to me....
