Essie - it's sunflower... halloween name... DD is 6wks (already ). hope the pumpkin stays ok, I just love it! Looking fwd to going to Italy (next year though ) and showing off my collection to friends (one converted to cloth - had baby today, so lending her my xs sandy;s before I sell them, other friend due in march and sent her lots of links...).

now, I must go or won't get any sleep.. will probably dream of "designer nappies"... might experiment with my sewing machine...

rusmom - went to work out exchange rates - australian dollars - gb pounds, but was pipped to the post by fullmoon.... (her figures are absolutely spot on...)

returnofrusmummy · 19/10/2008 11:37

BBM ANYONE you got any motherease wraps M that are colourful or patterned. Want some pretty wraps.
How are airflow different to rikkis??

babyjjbaby · 19/10/2008 13:37

airflows are popper and rikki is velcro

Essie3 · 19/10/2008 14:04

Ok, Sunflower now howler! Should I make a name too? Rusmum's at it as well! I've thought of one - PumpkinPop-in of course!

Howler if yours go white, phone the company and they will replace. It's quite a mystery really.

FullMoonHowler · 19/10/2008 14:07

Essie - thanks, will do, only washed it 3 times so far so it'll be a while I guess, is it just the soaker?.

returnofrusmummy · 19/10/2008 17:25

BBM what is approx resale value of prefolds???

New, in packaging
New but pre washed
and used??

lollipopmothershalloweenghost · 19/10/2008 18:46

Howler Love the pics, def like the Sandy's and then the Wonderoos, I really don't like the velcro at the front of the pop-in. Maia makes the Sandy's look massive just like Elizabeth!

returnofrusmummy · 19/10/2008 19:12

ANYONE prefold resale value??

returnofrusmummy · 19/10/2008 19:13

nappyzonehasastroppytoddler · 19/10/2008 19:34

Just wanted you all to know i have a small business classified ad (which im unsure anyone even knows exists lol but i pay for it!!!) and am running a 10% discount for mumsnetters only for the next 48 hrs coz my dd was 6 this weekend and im feeling all nice .

babyjjbaby · 19/10/2008 19:37

i'll have a look lol

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 19/10/2008 19:43

howler who were you supporting then? Do tell! I probably could guess which team.... I was not best pleased with my man's result - doubt he was either

rusmum - DS is in M atm so none to spare yet. Rikkis are aplix, airflow popper as babyjj said, but there are other differences...airflow has no gussets, has independant adjustment on legs and waist - 2 sets of poppers - it has a baggier fit to allow air to circulate, it is breatheable - the air gets in via the gap between the leg and waist poppers but you don't get leaks. Prefolds have a poor resale value - mainly due to the heavy weight (high postage) and the cheapness of them new. Used prefolds don't go for much at all for these reasons, New will go for less than RRP INCLUDING postage so if they cost £18 new and postage was £8 you'd be looking at about £6 resale value, maybe £8 on a good day example here - note extra fluffle!

babyjjbaby · 19/10/2008 20:07

BigBadMouseInHauntedHouse · 19/10/2008 20:14

rusmummy - I'm impressed with the prefold! How have you folded it? Love her little legs

Ceolas · 19/10/2008 20:22

That prefold looks good and snug rusmum. Are you having more success?
