They are still white now, but I'm not confident about this time next year!

sunflower78 · 08/10/2008 18:31

rusmum - they're great cos they kind of like coulottes so a bit lower on thighs, great containement, well, no leakes so far!

babyjjbaby · 08/10/2008 18:41

oh thats good with the sandys i have never tryed them

lollipopmother · 08/10/2008 19:03

My Sandy's XS came today and they are perfect, love them!

Sunflower - I think I saw that you were about to sell your XS stuff, are you selling now or a bit later on? I'm looking for XS Motherease wraps ideally but possibly more Sandy's too depending on the price.

ilovemydog · 08/10/2008 19:14

i used sandy's xs for both dd and ds and manged to sell for about a third of what i paid for them!

Ceolas · 08/10/2008 19:31

I have 2 large Sandy's and can't get excited about them at all. Maybe they're better on tiny babies or perhaps DD's the wrong shape

BigBadMousey · 08/10/2008 19:52

ILMDog Are you after any more toddle-ease? Seen 2 cheap but not organic....

Essie - Sorry missed your question. PUL is Polyurathane Laminate. 'tis the waterproof stuff that wraps and pocket nappies are made from. Your pop-ins do have PUL in them but a different way to most nappies or wraps in that the PUL is hidden by the outer fabric (pocket bots plus have the same system).

sunflower78 · 08/10/2008 20:20

lollipop - still using them, the airflow's doing double shift too as it's perfect with the muslins so it's really the main wrap (got tips here of using tesco's microfibre cloth to boost and it lasted 2 hrs, when I changed her all the top part of the nappy was still dry!), so not ready to sell just yet (at the moment I'm getting by with the 4 xs sandys, 1 popper bamboozle btp (great nippaed with airflow), 1 pop-in, and muslins. Used the small sandy's a couple of times, but still feel a bit loose, so not left them on long, though if Maia keeps on putting on 11 oz a week we might be able to use them fulltime soon. and got 2 size 1 used bamboozles coming next week too and some squares (question for the experts - can I take the velcro off the bamboozles or would I damage the fabric?). But will let you know... don't they look cute though!?

Ceolas · 08/10/2008 20:35

Ah good question sunflower! I'd like to remove the velcro from my Little Lamb bamboo nappy. Wonder if anyone's done it?

BigBadMousey · 08/10/2008 20:37

Sunflower - yes you can take the velcro off but be warned if you plan to nippa you may kill them after a while. TB discontinued the nippa bamboozle because they had loads of returns - shredded bamboozles

OP posts:
babyjjbaby · 08/10/2008 20:38

right i am gonna sell 6 of the littleewes if any wants them they r far to bulky for my liking i liek real slim nappies

when u have alot of napiies do u like roatate them round when u do a wash so that all the same ones aren't getting the use like i washed some nappies today so have put them in the bottom of nappy box so they aren't the next ones to be used iyswim

also has any1 used a bumpy night wrap using one tonight whats the difference between it and a normal wrap

BigBadMousey · 08/10/2008 20:40

ceolas - yes I've nippa'd a little lamb (or several) - my friend took the velcro off all her LLs - they were seconds and the aplix was dodgy....

OP posts:
BigBadMousey · 08/10/2008 20:42

ceolas - sorry those were cotton LLs. I'm certain my more well-used LL would not be up to nippa-ing now 'sgone all flat .

OP posts:
BigBadMousey · 08/10/2008 20:44

argh - sorry posted before I meant to (DS attached). That should say my well used BAMBOO LL.

OP posts:
Ceolas · 08/10/2008 20:49

Forgot about the bamboo shredding issue. My Bambeasy is nippa fastening and seems OK. Think I might try it anyway.

Ceolas · 08/10/2008 20:50

eek x-post again!

Essie3 · 08/10/2008 20:56

Ok, so how do I care for this PUL in my pop-ins? Does it need special care? I don't want it to disintegrate.

Just went to Waitrose (!) to look at the reduced motherease nappies for a friend. They're not reduced any more - but they now sell a new nappy; the pop-in!!

rusmum · 08/10/2008 21:02

rusmum · 08/10/2008 21:10
