You've got time. Argos and Amazon are still functioning. Balloons, banners and cake.

Bluebell121 · 19/03/2020 20:11

@I8toys thankyou

Hi OP, it will be fine just do what you can, I buy lots of little things and wrap them separately to make it look more. Craft stuff is always a winner.

My DD is 6 this weekend we had to cancel her party too. I ordered lots from Smyth's yesterday and it arrived by 11am today.

Moodymagpie · 19/03/2020 20:14

Use the classic website... I'm new so don't know my way around the website yet... Learner still. Lol.

CJsGoldfish · 19/03/2020 20:14

Looks like you may have gotten the gifts you wanted OP so good luck to you. Confused

It really was all down to you. Projection and making it worse for your 3 year old was never going to end well. YOU controlled the narrative and I guess it's gone where you wanted it to.

ScarlettBlaize · 19/03/2020 20:15

You haven't been out for two weeks but you're still expecting to 'get paid'?

TurquoiseDress · 19/03/2020 20:15

Maybe try Amazon for gifts, a lot of shops you can purchase online, get it delivered, the options are endless

Have a party at home- make your own cake/cupcakes, loads of balloons, music and dancing.

Take deep breaths and get some perspective on the wider situation.

ScarlettBlaize · 19/03/2020 20:17

Sorry, I posted my previous post without having got to the end of the thread. I didn't read that OP had started screaming at and hurling personal abuse at everyone who posted. I'd replied as if she was a reasonable person - please consider my previous post retracted.

TurquoiseDress · 19/03/2020 20:17

Hang on, just re read your post- I read it as your DD is turning 12! (teach me to speed read)

she's going to be 3- bloody hell, you're doing very well if that is all you have worry about!

Moodymagpie · 19/03/2020 20:17

@CJsGoldfish

That's more than a bit harsh!

All she's done is stress how she's upset about her kid. This conversation has clearly not gone the way she wanted at all!!

TurquoiseDress · 19/03/2020 20:18

oh jesus...

Frenchw1fe · 19/03/2020 20:19

@BobbyBlueCat why the aggression to someone you don’t know?
Have you enjoyed trying to make the op feel like a bad mum?

Whenwillthisbeover · 19/03/2020 20:20

In the nicest possible way, I am more concerned about RI staff. She is three, how much of being three can you remember?

This is serious, like war serious. Presents for a three year old are bloody irrelevant. People can’t get essentials, people can’t pay bills, I don’t want to get irritated with you, but I am.

DDs birthday is on 26th April, she is X-raying Covid19 chests, in full hazmat suit. She’ll get over it.

She can’t remember her third birthday, neither can I.

ScarlettBlaize · 19/03/2020 20:20

@TurquoiseDress it's OK; I'm a big girl and can cope with whatever insults & curses the OP decides to chuck in my direction.

Bluebell121 · 19/03/2020 20:20

@ScarlettBlaize as I told other people i do not work at the moment due to personal reasons I am currently on sick I do not have to explain to you.

Hopeisnotastrategy · 19/03/2020 20:21

Balloons. Cake. Card. A bit of nonsense to open. Big it up. Sorted.

You really do need to focus on other issues right now.

goldfinchfan · 19/03/2020 20:22

OP why not try Amazon or even eBay if you buy new and from a reputable seller.
She's only three I doubt she will remember when she is older and can understand about the OCvid

Bluebell121 · 19/03/2020 20:22

@ScarlettBlaize I Loooove how narrow minded people like you just see what I PUT? What about people that called me names and told me I couldn't speak English and constantly took digs at my spelling and punctuation? You expect me not to be pissed off? Or maybe at people like you that points out what OP's do but not the other people?

OP posts:
goldfinchfan · 19/03/2020 20:22

sorry Covid virus.

Or try a local shop by phone?

Littlebookwormiam · 19/03/2020 20:23

Amazon delivered to me today, why not get something from there?

TurquoiseDress · 19/03/2020 20:23

What happened to #bekind, again?

I think it turned into Fuck you march! Confused
