Jesse for a boy - nice name or mental cruelty?

OK so I seem to be having a boy. Had a gorge girls name picked out but the only boys name DH and I love is...Jesse. I have had some positive reactions where we live but v extreme negative reaction from my northern family anf friends. Honest opinion please - yess or nooooooooo?

Bay LOVES Roly Mo so it might help him bond! My brothers cat is stanley - like it tho, dh said 'no'!

One of our other choices was Bo - but that wouldn't really go with Bay, I guess...
