NappyHappy · 10/07/2013 19:38

Uh oh, could be because its on a muscle maybe? I couldn't get in at the Dr's and still cant and its just a hard lump. Yum.

That must be TERRIBLE having to sit with your leg up Wink.

PurplePidjin · 10/07/2013 20:02

I use ds's dj booth thing. Which means he tries to eat my toes because that's more fun than playing Hmm

He crawled today :o

He he, what is it with babies and toes? How is it today?

Uh oh, now the fun begins! Does he look super cute with his shuffling in the air? Awww, love hearing and seeing new milestones. Smile How is R and the heat?

PurplePidjin · 11/07/2013 23:11

The jellytot is still itchy and swollen. He's always cute especially when he looks like his daddy!

Heat is ok, we're near enough the coast to get a breeze. Teeth are a nightmare though Sad

Any of you got anything in the LL sale? I hada look but sadly really don't need anything right now. I ordered from Pixie Pants on FB the other week but my order seems to have got lost in the mail. She's kindly resent it but the skull& crossbones nappy was out of stock. Gutted Sad

NappyHappy · 12/07/2013 12:29

I've not looked at it this time but had fluffy post arrive today which I got with funds made from selling some bits last week. They do have great sales on though. Did she let you know about it being out of stock?

P, that doesn't sound good! Mines gone scabby. Would Lanacane help it?

Bloody teeth, not a good combo with heat. Poor babies Angry

R is cute Grin anyway.

rrreow · 12/07/2013 14:02

Yeah I picked the bumble bee one instead, it's cute!

PurplePidjin · 12/07/2013 19:23

I need to sell before i buy more, I'm stocked up on ones we use and need rid of ones we don't!

Scabbed now, have lanacane and teatree :o

How's things going, rrreow?

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 13/07/2013 16:15

What have you got to sell?

I was imagining the 1 wake up last night Hmm

How are the babies coping with the heat?

PurplePidjin · 13/07/2013 20:08

Cotton size 1s and pfs. The shit stuff nobody wants Hmm

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 14/07/2013 16:00

Are you going to list them on that FB page anyway? How is Jelly Tot? I've just picked the scab off mine. Wink

PurplePidjin · 14/07/2013 20:04

If i can be arsed. I'll be making a nappy cake for one of the mums at bf group (expecting a little bro for her 2yo) so can palm some off there instead of putting in cash Wink

Jelly tot deflated and now just itches like a bastard Hmm

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 14/07/2013 21:14

What a fab idea! Nappy cakes are ace. Grin

Oooh, sounds like tot is getting there. Feckin bugs!

DS1 finishes for the 6 weeks hols on Friday! Angry Hmm

I think ds3 is either having daytime nap regression or he's getting angry as he's fell asleep on his front and can't get back.

PurplePidjin · 14/07/2013 22:04

Yeh, good use for spare pfs, i picked up a Kooshie swim nappy for a quid in a charity shop without realising ds is too big for it, and we're having a collection for teeny fits :o

OP posts:
PurplePidjin · 16/07/2013 18:44

Sold some! 6wraps and 20 small pfs to a new mum at bf group - she spotted ds's realeasy and said she was disappointed that the ones she's got are too big, so for £20 i sorted her out. Hurrah!

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 17/07/2013 09:19

Oh excellent! Ive sold a few baby bits on FB. Need to have a good clear out. Ds1's books are for the chop today, he's far too many that do not get read anymore.

Took ds3 for his check up yesterday and they're still going on about his weight being a bit low. He's not a big eater and Im not going to make him eat.

How is ds and his crawling?

rrreow · 17/07/2013 11:28

I think weight is such an issue that gets blown out of proportion. You can't really compare your child to a graph or a statistic. As long as they are well in themselves and get a good balance of food I wouldn't worry or even listen. It's a bit of a pet peeve of mine ever since I went to a checkup (for myself) and the nurse told me I needed to put on weight, all the while staring at her computer screen (which presumably told her my BMI) and not even once actually looking at me to see if that advice actually made sense!!

NappyHappy · 17/07/2013 19:07

Im not bothered by it, its the 2nd time they've mentioned it. The other 2 are skinny minnies, all the boys on my side are Grin ooh ya cant win! Told off for being fat or thin!

Hows your big dude getting on?

PurplePidjin · 17/07/2013 20:11

Ffs, people are different shapes. Is he eating, drinking, messing nappies and meeting milestones? Yes. He's fine.

Hv must have sensed i was prepared to let loose the other day and kept things civil. He's 16lb 9 though, and jumped from under the 0.4th to over the 9th.

He's a little menace :o still commando style but he's very determined! Especially whdn it comes to stuff he shouldn't chew like wires...

Dp is back at work 2 mornings a week and i stabbed my friend today.

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 17/07/2013 23:13

Im just going along with it. Oh there are messy nappies alright. Why do I check down the back and end up with it all over my hand?!

Commando is so cute, give it a couple of weeks then boom. Wires here too, whats all that about?

Thats great news! Is it similar to what he was doing before?

How did you manage to stab your friend? Was it with a random implement?

PurplePidjin · 18/07/2013 04:01

Back at the same place. He's knackered but coping :)

With an epi pen. We were baking, she got chocolate on her hand, licked it off. Dairy allergy.

rrreow · 18/07/2013 14:22

My boob hurts Hmm Z is going through a couple of days of sleeping a lot it seems. I am leaking through a lot of breastpads. I think it's also because he's all of a sudden bringing up a lot of milk. So my he feeds again to make up for it and that results in explodey boobs.

Definitely feel I struck gold with the realisation that he likes to sleep on his front though. All naps are now on his front and he sleeps much longer that way!

Last night was annoying though. Fed him, changed him, we went to sleep. I'd been asleep for about 5 minutes and he woke up and wanted feeding again! He fed for 3 minutes and happily went back to sleep. But I was wide awake at that point and just too anxious/agitated to sleep.

So I took that time to look into horse riding lessons. But I don't think my stomach muscles are up for sports yet, I can still feel the hole in between Sad I always get this crazy motivation in the summer to get fit. Also not sure my wallet is up for horse riding. It's so crazy expensive grr. Life was easier when I was younger and my mother paid for these things..

PP so you saved her life? That's quite impressive. Horribly unfair for your friend though to have to avoid chocolate!

OOH OOOH I am going to make my second convert tomorrow hopefully! Someone at the mums & babies meetup was interested when she saw Z's nappy the other week. So tomorrow I'm going to chat to her and I'll take some nappies along to show her.

NappyHappy · 18/07/2013 19:35

Wow, was it a big flap scene? Cool, you saved her life quick before anything happened! That must be tough at times for her.

That's good he's back at the old place, no training and that.

Ds3 is still a back sleeper only sleeping on his front twice, the other boys are now front sleepers. How do you manage it co-sleeping?

PurplePidjin · 18/07/2013 23:15

It's amazing how much random stuff has milk powder added Sad it was surprisingly undramatic at the time, just a case of "you're reacting, here are your options, you're an adult so decide or you'll pass out and I'll decide for you" iyswim

R is a tummy sleeper. We only coslept at Christmas at mil's, and i had the bed to myself so moved him away from me night by night. He's been in his own bed ever since although all his naps are on me, in the car seat or buggy. I cba with the battle and being tied to the house tbh!
