Maybe a D&V bug? The vomiting & yellow poo sounds exactly like what happened when DS had a stomach bug last time. Hope she gets better soon.

I think it's growth spurt time! I have been reduced to a milking cow. Currently going about 1 hour between feeds!

PurplePidjin · 17/06/2013 20:16

Aw, poor little bickiepeg Sad

Grit your teeth, rrreow, this too shall pass Hmm

R has eaten an enormous amount today, and went down with no protest at 6:45 after just 10 minutes milk. I think he's dropped a couple of feeds too, just wants milk between meals iyswim. Hope a night one's about to go too!

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 18/06/2013 00:38

Grin @ bickiepeg, thats brilliant!

D&V is still very much around due to the interesting weather we've been having. How has she been today?

I got covered in baby pasta via vomit earlier! Ha ha poor sod. He'll get there.

Im going to stick with the DF before I go to bed so its one less wake up iyswim.

Are you co-sleeping with ds2 Rrreow? So it makes the constant feeding easier?

Hope everyones night is good!

He went down with no fuss at 6:45. Woke at 12:30 and 3:30 for a 10 minute feed. Up for the day at 6.

Very chuffed with that :o

We never got on with bed sharing. He's actually happier in his own bed in his own room

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 18/06/2013 11:11

That's Brill! We had a slightly better night too. Not long now til he is in his own room (in travel cot in my room til he sttn seems so ds2 is the lightest sleeper. Ever.) When he woke at 4.30 I thought that was it for the day as he started chirping but conked out thank fook.

You can't be crunchy all the time Wink

rrreow · 18/06/2013 11:55

Yes co sleeping all the way. We didn't even get a crib this time. Grin much better night last night. 12am, 4am, 6am, 8am. Had a wonderful cuddle in bed with the 4 of us at that point. Then slept a bit more and got up at 9.30. I feel human! Also helped that DS1 slept through.

I'm disliking the Sandies nappies. They're bulky and don't fit properly inside the Small wraps. Which is funny as they're both Motherease brand!

BiscuitCrumbsInBed · 18/06/2013 12:17

Aaahh bickipeg is cute! I gave her some of those when she was first teething, made a terrible sticky mess... No sick last night thank goodness even though I had spare beddinget c all lined up. Still yellow poo today tho; it's the same colour as the metanium I'm putting on her poor sore bum. We had some nappy free time yesterday and she managed to wee on and in a cupboard!

Glad you got some more sleep R ! Interesting re sandies they don't appeal to me much I like the big fluffy bum effect of LL or bumbles. A bumble + blueberry coverall just did sterling work here containing a jet propelled yellow poo Grin

Pidj can you send little R over to teach bickipeg to sleep please?

NH what's occurring with your local council and you helping them promote cloth?? Any news?

LeBFG · 18/06/2013 13:41

Sorry everyone is getting sicked on Sad. Hopefully the worst is over. Nights are pretty random aren't they? rrreow, I found the prefolds a better fit early on. The fitteds have now come into their own (DD is now 3.5mo already!!!). The small wraps no longer fit over the fitteds though so we're on medium.

DD sleeps in a side cot (actually, just a cot we took the side off) so I think that counts as half-hippy? I always feed to one side and DD's neck twists one way. She's a bit lopsided now - anyone seen the same effect?

Get well soon baby fluffers Flowers.

PurplePidjin · 18/06/2013 13:45

If it improves, Biscuit, then yes! Hope it wasn't a one off...

He's put on 2lb and jumped from the 0.4th to the 9th centile Shock

NappyHappy · 18/06/2013 14:15

Yeah, You just need to put her head to the other side when shes asleep BFG (overheard someone talking about it Wink)

He, he Ive just had the pictures taken! She'll send me them over later on. then it'll be printed in a few weeks when the ishoos with the grey bins has died down.

Both fluffed bums were in the pics with a fluffy washing line in the background! Blush

Got some fluffy post to send out in a bit WinkWink

Hope Baby Biscuit gets better soon.

Z is sleeping well Rrreow! Excellent stuff. You'll have to sell the Sandies to buy more Wink

PurplePidjin · 19/06/2013 02:16

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 19/06/2013 14:52

PurplePidjin · 19/06/2013 18:46

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 19/06/2013 23:45

My mum is like that too. Until the boys are old enough to choose their clothes, Ill be picking them Grin ha.

PurplePidjin · 20/06/2013 23:10

Do i want to check out the Caribbean shop with my friend tomorrow or should i wait in for fluffy post? Dp should be home and the sorting office is 2 minutes up the road but I'm excited...

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 21/06/2013 10:46

Ooh yes, you've got to go!!! Mmmmm. Lovely things. Grin

The nearest Caribbean shops to me are in Moss Side about 8 miles away. Hmm

Ive got the Eartha Kitts real bad today so Ill not be going out!

PurplePidjin · 21/06/2013 13:06

The boys went to visit an elderly friend (92 and still knits him stuff!) and i started the babyproofing. Humped all the heavy reference books upstairs, shelved my sewing stuff, vacuumed, dusted, found a space for my (electric) piano... They came back just as i got to my favourite bit, alphabetising the fiction Blush place is in uproar but much cleaner and the end is in sight!

Fluffy post arrived, very cute but they look massive! R is 15lb 6 so hopefully they'll fit once his small ones really do get too small...

OP posts:
rrreow · 21/06/2013 15:28

Can you do my place next PP? Grin

I went to a mums & babies coffee morning! It was great and people were very interested in my sling and also some interest in cloth nappies (Z was sporting a BG Freetime, which is my change bag nappy at the moment, although I only have 2). So I'm hoping to make my first convert soon!

Also did a spot of shopping as the meet up was in this big American style mall and I couldn't resist. Am absolutely knackered now though!

NappyHappy · 21/06/2013 15:57

Good, glad they arrived Smile

Ive been in bed for a couple of hours whilst the boys slept. Its just liquid, that burns.

Im still waiting on fluffy post that was sent last week Confused where are you?!

American Mall sounds cool!

PurplePidjin · 21/06/2013 17:30

Well done, rrreow! The first time was definitely the hardest for me, once i realised most people were just intrigued it got easier. Now i enjoy scaring fat chavs other mums swinging ds up onto my back :o

Feel better soon, nh Thanks

OP posts:
NappyHappy · 21/06/2013 21:02

Lol @ fat chavs. Its full of 'em round here and 2 in particular always give me snidey looks. Funny as.

I gave up on baby groups, full of cliquey young mums. Shock

Thanks, the upside is I might lose a pound!

How did the boys get on at the 92 yr olds? Old people are great.

PurplePidjin · 21/06/2013 21:24

I'm pretty much the youngest I've met, and I'm over 30! The younger ones chavvers all ff and hang around the park smoking. Which'll be fun on Tuesday when our bf group show up for Bf Awareness week :o:o

Aunty Jean is fab. She's the sil of an old neighbour of dp's in Essex, the ex neighbour had sent a toy for ds to keep their and play with when they visit! I love old people apart from the ones I'm related to, they're all a total pita They were out for 2 1/2 hours Shock
