BET A&E is busy round you way then macdog! our council is slow to grit to, im ok once i cross the border to norfolk as they seem more up on gritting the roads but its just getting to the dual carrigeway thats dodgy.

i did have a better day at work today, no tears today!
my parents want to lend me moeny so i can redo my kitchen and my nanny has offered to buy me a new bathroom suite, but im too stuborn and want to wait until ds2 is finished nursery so i can pay for it myself. its tempting though as i have 2 cuboards with no doors on and 2 draws i cant use as have broken. i just dont like knowing they could be having nice holidays instead of lending me money.

now going to watch something about mary i skyplused a few nights ago

oh dear...

my dad is coming to fix my heating tomorrow!! yay!! heat again. luxury.

im off with my ds's to my friends tonight, i stopped off in tesco on way home from work tonight to get some booze, and the shelves were nearly bare!! no smirnoff ices, no wkd, no bacardi mojitos. so in the end brought some lemonade and will have to take my personal bottle of archers with me as an offering having to share my own bottle!!! and i got a bottle of baileys for xmas but a bit off baileys after last year so will take that to. but i did get a massive profiterole gatueax (spelling??) on offer for £3. might not take that and eat it all myself tomorrow !

went to watch the snow queen puppet show in norwich this afternoon. was fab, ds2 really enjoyed it, ds1 wasnt to impressed but wasnt what he was expecting i think.
still snowing here, im fed up with all this snow now like you md. its cold and damp and i cant wait for spring.

Not had much time to myself I'm afraid so MN has had to suffer. We had so much snow before Christmas, the dc didn't get to nursery for a week, so couldn't do half the things I wanted to do.

We had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Hope you all did too.

Took dd to the Indoor fairground at the SECC in Glasgow. That girl is FEARLESS!!

MORE snow overnight

Took dd out with her sledge. had an hour and a half of sledging, then took her and her sledge off to shops.
Such an easy way to bring shopping and her home again - wish I'd thought of it earlier

Back to Nursery tomorrow

at being back to nursery!
back to school tomorrow for ds1 although we have been forecast a foot of snow overnight so wether the school actually opens is another matter

dd being back at Nursery has given her even MORE energy - how is that even possible????

Had a productive day taking back all the horrific ugly useless 'wrong size'() clothes that dd got back to M&S - £25 to the good, thank you very much

bloody freezing my arse off!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have even brought the guinea pigs indoors as its so friggin freezin!!! for the past few days their water has been frozen solid in the mornings and evenings when i get home! so brough a massive plastic toys box, drilled lots of holes in it, filled it with shavings and straw and have them now in the bathroom (where no cats and dogs can get in!)
at least they wont freeze in there. its cold as no heater but not as cold as outside!
im quite looking forward to having central heating next year now

the ds's got some money for crimbo from mu great uncle, so me being a meany didnt tell them but got them some new clothes and things instead of toys. they have to many toys.
lots more use out of those! ds2 also gets pj's every year from one of my uncles but they thing is he thinks ds2 is a year older than he is, so he is now only fitting into last years pj's so he has some bob builders ones for next year already, age 4-5.

im quite liking cbb, jonas/bass hunter is quite nice looking. stephen baldwin is strange, prefer one of his other brother william!

Just been online to order her more waterproofs.
Her old ones are getting too small, so ordered a couple of pairs in the next size. I'd really recommend them. They are cheap, but they are brilliant!

Spent yesterday afternoon making lard, seed and oat cake for birds, left my hands all smooth and soft .

omg im so fed up with snow now!!
BUT if its still here saturday i will take ds2 out on the sledge, ds1 will be upset that hes now to big to pull on it though!

driving on my way to work this morning when they announce the school is closed on the radio, so have had to go home and sort something out for him now. going to drop him off at my mums for a while. snows really thick here and still snowing now.

i dont want to drive in this snow again but one of the others girls at work got in and she lives 40 miles away so i have to show a little effort as im only 15 miles away. blooming dogooders

its lonely in here...
