new thread! seems a bit cobwebbed to be honest...

OP posts:
Macdog · 20/10/2009 17:13

...but given that they talkto me on FB, I'll assume MN problems

SinisterJenn · 20/10/2009 20:01

No it just takes me forever to catch up with MN, I don't get the chance to post all the time. Ds came home from nursery after vomiting, and it looks like he might have chickenpox. Bummer. I've got loads to do, but won't be able to with a housebound child.

Macdog · 20/10/2009 20:42

Yikes Jenn, hope he's ok.

How are the others??

SinisterJenn · 20/10/2009 21:00

Oh he'll be fine. Others are great. Dd1 has already had it and dd2 is likely to get it now isn't she. I've put potty training on hold. There is absolutely no point when they're not well.

Macdog · 21/10/2009 07:06

hope it passes without too much hassle for you {{hugs}}

SinisterJenn · 21/10/2009 16:06

Oh Jenn!
Can't offer more advice than what people have already suggested

worley · 21/10/2009 19:34

hello, off to check jens fb status

worley · 21/10/2009 19:38

eww, is all i can say, been there before.
all i did was soak it with a solution of washing detergent and water then soaked it up then wet with water to try to remove the washing detergent, then soak up again. then let dry and turn mattress over.

fed up of travelling to london already, the journeys are "doing me 'ead in"

Macdog · 21/10/2009 19:59

Stay with it Worley, will be worth it in the end

SinisterJenn · 21/10/2009 21:08

Can only turn my mattress 180', head to foot. It's got a special surface on it.

worley · 21/10/2009 21:42

thankyou md
think im just feeling really crappy at the moment, am wondering about going back to gps as i know im depressed but worry they will just say its cause of dp and i need time to sort it out, which i know it is but i just cry all the time again and feeling really stressed. Am wishing i never started this course now as i cant concentrate on it and end up sitting there thinking of every things thats happened. i have to be all happy and friendly at work then snap as soon as i get home and just cry. even ds1 has noticed which i feel even worse for.
fecking men

SinisterJenn · 21/10/2009 22:02

Worley I don't know how you do it. You are so much stronger than I would be in your situation. Don't know what else to say to be honest. I'm rubbish at this sort of thing.

SinisterJenn · 21/10/2009 22:05

Oops flash back to antenatal thread with the bold there.

SinisterJenn · 23/10/2009 10:54

OMG I thought I'd share this. I'm sitting looking out of the window, and watching the church over the road. There is going to be a funeral and it looks like it's standing room only. Anwyay I kid you not, a glass carriage pulled by 2 white horses has just pulled up with a coffin in it! Obviously it's very sad.

Only got puke from dd2 today so far. I didn't think she'd be affected but looks like she has. She slept through from 7.30 with no dream feed so I had to express this morning. I hand expressed 4oz from one boob. Ow I'm still sore. Poor ds though. He doesn't understand why he can't eat.

Macdog · 23/10/2009 20:01

at glass hearse

Glad your mattress got sorted

What's everyone up to this weekend??

dd back at mini-movers gymnastics tomorrow - hurrah!!

SinisterJenn · 23/10/2009 22:11

We were meant to be going out for a meal tonight with dh's gay uncle, but the sick kids made us cancel. In the end our babysitter came round for food anyway, and then her mum, pregnant big sister and little brother came round to pick her up. Was really good.

Macdog · 25/10/2009 09:34
