just wish it would thaw now, we're hitting -10 most nights and not getting up to freezing during day

no it still hasnt stopped snowing, it comes down so fast and thick. i have promised we will make a snowman tomorrow. sat here with the fire going, hot chocolates watched terry pratchetts ndisc worll that we sky pluses over christmas, have day of the triffads to watch still and another few things to watch.
made some butternut squash today, lushy lush

i ran out of kindling and logs earlier so ds2 and i went over to garage over road to me to buy some more, and got soaked, his cheeks were so rosy when we got back in again! but at least we have enough fuel to last until monday,

Buying some 'daylight' light bulbs today, see if my mood improves. Feel as if I'm living in gloom the whole time
Really sleepy and tired all the time

i didnt go to work yesterday and today, i have slept all day,
had a cracking headache sun/mon feel a lot better now. one of them ones that wears off for a while but comes back meaner after the drugs wear off. going to lay off the coffee for a while and back with my glasses see if that helps me.

Getting used to new bulbs - trying them in 2 rooms to start. Weird

how are they different? whiter light? dont know about them?
went to work to be sent home again, came over all dizzy as i got into office and had to sit down. so i was told i was too pale and had to go home. my mum did my blood sugars yesterday (my mum is diabetic) for me and they were normal but she was busy this morning so couldnt get her to do them when i was having a funny turn. i have being convinving myself i am heading towards being diabetic, i am such a hyperchondriac !

Hello hello. i've given mumsnet up for a little while. I'm getting so much knitting done because of it.

We've had less snow this time, but it's impossible to take the children out on the pavements. They were sheet ice. I had mostly all gone yesterday, but it's snowing again now. It won't stick but just make the birds hungry. They have lots of treats in my garden at the moment. Yukky Sage Derby cheese is being wolfed down by the birds.

They give off a blue/white light, as opposed to orange/yellow light
You can get really expensive ones that replicate full spectrum, but I'm trying cheaper ones.
They are much brighter, but not dazzling

I'm just feeling so down at the moment, thought brighter light might help a bit

Dd2 has been sick for 24 hours. My boobs are sore because she's not feeding much, so I'm having to express to stop from getting engorged. I just had undigested tagliatelle all over me, my pyjamas and managed to save the bedding, which only got changed yesterday.

Signed dd up for a trial Taekwondo lesson

ooo, ds2 would be of macpup doing that!! he didnt go to gym today as exdp has broken his wrist iceskating with the kids from his work and cant drive ds2 was most upset that he missed it.
i reported some one to the social services today via work. was really panicing about doing it, but decided i had to do incase something awfull happened, and it turns they are currently under investigation just wasnt written in notes. i felt so bad but would have felt worse if something happened aka baby p style and i didnt do anything.
