You can choose who's allowed access to your pictures and other personal stuff. It's not all laid bare for the world to see, honest. I wouldn't put pics of my boys on it if it was.

No I meant people might see the pictures of me and mine that my friends have up? I'm imagining old enemies looking me up. I didn't have anything up at all and I kept getting requests from people wanting to be my friend.

I have all my settings to friends only, and I only have about a dozen friends. Even then you can limit access to specific people (I hope; I'm still working out how to use the bloody thing)

Think I'm getting my DT mojo back.

I got it back a couple of weeks ago. I mainly use fb for work stuff, so my content is very limited. I haven't had any problems with enemies, and I bet there are more people that don't like me than don't like you Berrie.

Three hour DT Hamlet film to be on television it says in the Times today.

When I say enemies I realise I mean friends from the past who I fell out with. Can they click on my friends and see their pictures if they are not protected?

Berrie, unless you confirm someone as a friend, they can't see anything but your profile picture. So your old enemies might request to be friends with you but you can decline.

What are you all doing today? I'm on a double shift . DP has taken the boys out on their bikes and they're going to have a picnic (without me ). It's quiet news-wis today so, having tackled the mountain of clean washing, I will be taking my laptop into the garden and working in the sunshine, glass of pink fizz in hand .

Dh's sister and son are over from Canada so we need to go and see them in a bit. Dh has been cleaning up all morning as the place is horrendous because I am under strict instructions not to do anything to my back before our holiday. Dh is happy with what he's done but really the job is only half done. Sort of tidied but not clean. Ah well, don't care if his sister thinks we are pigs - she lives in Canada after all and we are anyway.

Right. Kids are in bed and I have sarted on the pink fizz. (this is your doing Lyra - I'd forgotton my liking for pink fizz during our 4 month off alcohol - you reminded me)

Dh is back in A&E with his Dad. He was let out of hospital yesterday - holiday back on and everything but he is not at all well and can't swallow, can't get himself to the loo. I'm not sure that our holiday insurance is not all stitched up so that they won't pay out but that isn't really the point.

Ah well. Shall I watch Britain's got talent or start the film Oggs sent? Mmmm she said her dh didn't think much to it so maybe my Dh won't mind and it is after all a tottyfest for me more than anything...

Right. I've spent the afternoon in Truro trying to find something to wear for a wedding in 3 weeks as DS is with DH this weekend, as I didn't want to give him my Mexican flu. I found a fab dress, but can't justify £130 quid on a size 18 as I don't intend to stay this size. So I've been bidding like mad on Ebay.

Large glass of white, M&S dim sum and flicking between Britain's Got Talent and Robin Hood when it starts. Oh what fun. But it was nice to have a quiet day.
