Sorry to hear that Titania's poor gerbil didn't survive.. I thought it was all ok because it was found yesterday.

WE FOUND THE GERBIL!!!! .....it had made it outside!!! i had opened the door to put the rubbish out and he wouldnt let me close the door. DS2 was saying 'hiya hiya' and waving at the shed.......poor little patch was bedraggled in a puddle by the shed.....have dried her off and reunited her with her sister now......phew!!!!

this thread has made me pmsl however, asfar as i was aware the first posting re;gerbils was just before titanias gerbil thread and the poter then apologised after seeing that thread, however,asfar as i could see it this was not a direct mickey take on titanias thread, if it wasthen, then everyone should be offended as we have all been sending ourselves up. ive been sent up on here too, and also did not get upset when happydaddy jokingly asked if i could be preg, despite the fact that i misscarried 4 weeks ago, he didnt know that, anymore than alot of people were unaware of the gerbil thread.oh and im sorry bout your gerbil titania, your kids must be really upset

Absolutly Space Cadet that's exactly what i told her about other peoples threads being teased as well. I think she's just feeling a bit fragile at the mo, and maybe she reacted like this because of the gerbil dying?

Gerbils ARE funny.
Not funny for Titania (and esp her kids) that her little gerbil perished,
but alive and fictional MN gerbils continue to be funny.

Don't know why T should be so upset - someone implied my angelic little DS2 has red horns and a tail further down the thread.

We paid a lot to have them surgically removed shortly after birth.
