Michael Howard makes my BLOOD BOIL

It makes my blood boil to hear Michael Howard talking about Labour 'diluting British values' - eg giving some asylum seekers special treatment.

How dare he presume that British values aren't ones of tolerance, understanding and caring.

I hate the Tory party and I especially hate Michael Howard.

Thanks, I feel better now.

And I have unnaturally blonde hair too so that is no excuse.

Bugsy2 · 20/04/2005 15:52

The worst thing is Bozza, that the more I try not to find him sexy, the more I do. It is like some tragic teenage crush.

JoolsToo · 20/04/2005 19:10

well yes they did make a mistake over the MRSA figures but MH has apologised for the error and whether you believe it was an error or not - MH has had the decency to apologise - of course that's a bit of a novelty isn't it, a politician apologising?

god forbid TB coming on telly and apologising for Iraq

I realise this will cut no ice, but am just waiting for the timer on the oven to go off ......

also promise not to post here anymore! I'll leave you to slag MH in peace.

Caligula · 20/04/2005 19:14

No no Jools, come back and defend him, it's funny! Not as funny as Bugsy fancying him though! PMSL! I don't know if that's better or worse than fancying Boris Johnson!

morningpaper · 20/04/2005 19:24

JT it's no fun unless we've got a Tory sympathiser to throw our sandals at.

How can anyone find Michael Howard sexy? I used to fancy Michael Portillo but really...

Bugsy2 · 21/04/2005 14:59

morningpaper - at least Michael Howard is not gay like MP!!!!!!!

bunny2 · 21/04/2005 21:25

Bugsy, William Hague does it for me big time!!!

Worth bumping this one I think. Did anyone see him with Paxman? Paxman definitely got his teeth into him more than Kennedy and Blair - but he's such an easy target! And all that producing rabbits from his pockets - what was that about?!

mrsflowerpot · 22/04/2005 20:30

b*gger missed Paxman.

I did make the mistake of actually opening the mailshot from the Conservatives that they sent this week about immigration, and ended up ranting for hours. But quite comforting that he still makes my blood boil so much, may have been starting to go soft on him as he's been so weak and not that offensive since he took over as party leader.

I think the immigration thing could be a massive own goal, it only appeals to people who would have voted for them anyway, and reminds all the waverers what they are really like.

JoolsToo · 22/04/2005 20:34

have taped will be watching later - Paxo was soft on Blair - still he wants to keep his job eh?

Wished they'd kept Hague anyone see him on QT?

I believe David Davis did a sterling job on Channel 4 - missed that one!

mrsflowerpot · 22/04/2005 20:37

did see bits of QT last night, and thought how much more assured Hague was than he ever was as leader of opposition. I always got the impression he was horribly unhappy in that role and relieved when he could finally be out of it.

JoolsToo · 22/04/2005 20:41

he used to run rings round Blair!

mrsflowerpot · 22/04/2005 20:44

TBH I always felt a bit sorry for Hague, he was never, ever going to escape that footage of him age 15 (if I have seen it once I have seen it a thousand times), and I think that did him massive harm as it made him hard to take seriously.

JoolsToo · 22/04/2005 21:19

I think you're absolutely right on that one!

he seems to have more fans now he's no longer leader - shame!
