Just realised I posted without refreshing page first, Worley. I wasn't ignoring you

How's ds1 now?

OP posts:
TheCosmicClock · 10/03/2009 20:38

ahh worley to your family.

Have namechanged the voodoo to the cosmicclock in honour of an old film I just re-found on YouTube
Absolutely hilarious animation, full of swearing, very very funny beautiful to watch highly recommended.
My dad hired it from a video shop when we were kids and I have never ever forgotton it, I even dream about it every so often.
Go view it!
Search for Twice Upon A Time on youtube, the restored versions. watch them in order everytime you have a spare 10mins. Awesome.
I am near tears!!

Going into Glasgow today - in the pouring rain

Am buying an old lady shopping trolley, cos I'm finding it really difficult to juggle dd and shopping bags. Had a lot of pain in my middle finger joints after carrying heavy bags so hoping this'll help a bit

OP posts:
worley · 11/03/2009 10:25

hes good now thankyou md.
we have some funky trolleys on the market here at the moment, some are all bright pink with big flowers on them in purple or turquoise ones. does your dd still go in the pushchair? sometimes i let ds2 walk but other times i cant be done with the stress and have to have him strapped down.

in our tescos they do the trolleys which are kind of like little tikes cars with a trolley on the top of it, and ds2 loves them, although i hate them. anyway, i ds2 gets in and out of them of his own accord, how i havnt broken his leg in one i dont know as he gets out as im pushing it, and i get to the checkout and he has collect things along the way from the bottom shelves. so now, i try not to use them, and try to draw his attention to somethiing else as we walk in so he doesnt see the bloddy trolleys, or i pray that by the time we get to the door, some one else has grabbed it!

worley · 11/03/2009 10:26

look at these md

Macdog · 11/03/2009 18:12

oooh...nice!
I got mine here. I had vouchers to use, bargain!
Been trundling it all round Glasgow and I love it!!

dd had great fun on the Subway today - most impressed at trains whizzing in and out of tunnels.

Long lie tomorrow - HURRAH!!!

worley · 12/03/2009 09:56

voodz, decided on your top 3 yet?
im off to bed now for lots of zzzzzzzzzz hopefully.
i just went to let the dog in from the garden as there was lots of baging and i opened the door to see him standing there with a tonkatoy cement mixer truck on his head!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pmsl he must have been investigating what was in it and got his head stuck and couldnt get it out, hence all the banging. i had to really pull it to get it off, he'll probably have a sore neck now.

catch you all later xx

Macdog · 12/03/2009 10:23

can't help at thought of small dog with tonka toy on head, hope he has no ill effects

dd up with temp this morning, brought her into our bed, so had to lie awakwe listening to a symphony of snoring - her and dh. Now got a cricked neck and sore shoulders/back and am very grumpy.

Riddle me this, batman...my ma and pa came for the day yesterday, this morning I found one of my mum's cable knitting needles...in the sink!!?! wtf! I called her and she denied all knowledge. She must've had it up her sleeve or something without realising.

Macdog · 12/03/2009 17:29

dh now passed the lurgy onto dd and I - bringing all sorts of bugs over the border.....

Jenn, was wondering when best time to contact you on way down is?? (if you still want to meet up, obv)
Was thinking I could text you when we pass Carlisle?
You can think about place to meet, you'll know good places I bet

OP posts:
Jennster · 12/03/2009 19:58

We'll swap lurgies then. Dd still got a temperature. Had one all week. They are both snot monsters at the moment.

I will text you now to check we still have the right numbers, and irc Carlisle is about 90-120 mins from here. What time do you think you will arrive approximately? I could do us all pizza for lunch, or do you want to meet elsewhere?
