Happy New Year !
I hope this thread will re-start what was always great modelling chat on this forum..
Here's hoping 2009 brings lots of castings and jobs for everyone !

GoodNightsSleep- Job was for Minihaha, Aussie clothing brand breaking out over here. They have seriously sweet clothing line called Bebe....trade show so we won't see the pics publicly but we get copies. Thanks for asking

hello has any one got any experiance with bizzykids like what they are like as an agency how much work they get and how many kids are on their books am thinking of joining my dd with them because they dont have a yearly fee just a one off payment anyone with them are you happy with them ?

My older ones are with BK, dd2 did a Disney magazine shoot for them and dd1 did the new Richard Curtis movie.They have been with the agency for7months.They have also had a few castings each.BK are a decent agency,nice to deal with.I do think they have a lot of kids on their books though, however they do get a lot of work.How old is your child?

dd is 6 almost 7 just want an agency that doesnt have yearly fees can you use your own pics on bizzy kids site

before you commit to bk check other agencies as well. I know people have had work with BK and I know a lot who haven't, dd has never had a thing with them but a lot of castings and a few jobs from another agency, when I've asked them why she hasn't had a thing they said "it's up to the clients which children they choose" fair point but surely if that were the case she wouldn't have a lot from another agency. Needless to say she's now with a different agent. I(t's completely your choice of course but shop around.

Good luck to your ds with sirdar, have you done any with them before? I was wondering as my ds did a shoot last Sept, and the pictures are not out yet, do you know how long it normally takes?

Yeah we've done Sirdar a few times. Last time they asked us ds had broken his arm, so luckily they've still remembered him.
Last September? Was it for the Spring cos if it was then i'm sure it'll be out soon. We did an August that was out in November before.

Did Sirdar today and little fella enjoyed himself. Beautiful location, huge great converted old pub in se london.

Sirdar are one of those companies that have a flavour of the month if that makes sense, they find a few kids, then use them loads over a couple /few years.

Todays pics'll be out in July.

Onthebeach, give them a ring and ask when you can expect to see pics out on sale.

pureeandpearls, how did the johnsons casting go today?
We had a checked availability for it yesterday but obviously nothing came of it, how old is your lo? Was told they were after babies with brown eyes.

P&P had a look at the clothes and they are very sweet. Bet your DD looked gorgeous. Hope the Johnson casting went well. DS had one for them last week but I assume he didn't get it as we've had no news. DD1 has a job tommorow for an Austrian radio station - It's lovely to get a weekend job so there's no need to take her out of school!

casting went well I think though of course you can never really tell, but at least babypearls was on form, which was better than the last one...

onthebeach- babypearls has blue eyes, so I couldn't comment. She is almost 8 months. There were quite a few there- mostly B&B it seemed. And now we wait- I sometimes really hate the wait thing. Can't they tell you it's a no?!!!
