blimey can hear a load of geese honking????but its pitch black out there???

theres also weird scratching noises coming from the roof over ds's room through the night
could it be an owl?

Macdog · 08/01/2009 09:55

We've seen loads of geese here. i love the fact that you hear them before you see them.

Scratching could be any bird, possibly starling etc (hates to burst Pudds bubble)

back to swimming today. dh taking her - I get to spectate!!

FOUND A HAGGIS!!!!!

OP posts:
ThePudding · 08/01/2009 14:57

really!!!!!!!? was it gold?

ds 16lb 9oz. Perfectly normal weight

HV said he was 24 weeks and that counts as 6months, so to just stuff his little face with all kinds of food...
I tried at lunch but he fell asleep in high chair as baby clinic had been so exhausting and such a long wait for weighing (45 mins!) and dd without a nappy so I was praying she wouldn't have an accident as I don't know how I'd have changed her with one hand holding onto heavy old ds. But all was fine in the end.

la la la l ala la lalalalalalalalallalaal
trying to do a lot more writing again.

ThePudding · 08/01/2009 14:58

a starling!

I hope so rather than rats/bats/cats in the attic!!!

ThePudding · 08/01/2009 14:58

a starling? in the pitch black nighttime?

Macdog · 08/01/2009 16:57

Is Monarch of The Glen back on TV? I used to love that on a Sunday night. I've just realised I've missed Anne Frank too.

I love the Geese. We only occasionally hear them here. Where I grew up 20 miles down the road, we used to hear them every night in winter.

Jennster · 08/01/2009 23:04

ThePudding · 09/01/2009 14:54

ThePudding · 09/01/2009 15:13

my little pony memory thread. funny

worleywinterwonderland · 09/01/2009 15:16

we used to have a goose on the paddock with the horse. he was horrible and used to chase us all, when we were little we would all run screaming. its quite funny now but when you were six he was bloody massive!!!

dp had gone to bed now as he is tired!!!! we just had a right argument about it. i cant just go to bed as im tired!! i have to stay with the boys, he just assumes he can go for a lay down ... FFS then he wont go to bed till 1 and kay in till 10 and then he has to start work at 11.30 tomorrow. sometimes i think single life maynot be as bad as thisbed always gets left made in the morning, no wet towels on the floor, wahing up done, 50%less washing to do. mmmm what else.....

worleywinterwonderland · 09/01/2009 15:17

oooh hello md

ThePudding · 09/01/2009 15:20

...and breathe Worley!!!!

look at those threads I linked. can you remember the names of your my little ponies??

worleywinterwonderland · 09/01/2009 15:23

so, ds2 saw the paed consultant yesterday, he doesnt think its a hernia he thinks its a hydrospoil (dont know if thats how its spelt) where something to do with his testicle hasnt fused together like it is suposed to, its meant to fuse by the time he is 2 but his hasnt. he also has a highly retractable testicle !!!pmsl!!! and he was amazed how high it goes into his groin, another dr had to come look as well!! so it will have to be stiched all up sometime, but doesnt have to be done asap, they can leave it till he is 8 at the latest. as it wasnt swollen yesterday he could tell how big it gets so i have to take a photo when it swells again and send it to him so they can see it. think i will print that out at hime, can imagine taking it to boots to print it out and getting aressted

my brother had a very retractable testi too and had to have it stitched down too.

buts all ok for the moment

worleywinterwonderland · 09/01/2009 15:24

actually i meant hello voodz!!!!!!!!!!

worleywinterwonderland · 09/01/2009 15:30

loving the my little pony thread.
i was going to walk up the road and meet ds1 but he might have to walk himself

its not that far just incase you now think im evil!!! he does walk with his friends and when i sometimes do go meet with him i have to walk behind them, im not allowed to walk with them!!! heaven forbid i impose on their coolness or something.

worley · 09/01/2009 15:56
