what has jenn changed her name too?

only realised today dd has been switching the tree lights on by herself ( flicking the wall socket switch!) the little monkey watched me and now turns them on when she feels like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eek I stared at them for ages today trying to remember when I turned them on......

had spending spree at Habitat, bout some 'art' for the lounge. FUN. their christian lacroix soft robot toys are £1.75 so bought 3 for extra pressies, and a 'boing' toy for ds, a wooden helicopter (!) for dd as she wouldnt put it down, and the wall hanging thing was £65 reduced to £10! the even bigger ones were £110 down to £10 but too big for our lounge. I heart Habitat it's awesome.

LetMeEatCake · 11/12/2008 14:02

just seen that thread, Worley you too are a star.
what a lot to have gone through. those other posters were typical MN, thoughtless, judgemental etc. hope you start finding some answers.

Macdog · 11/12/2008 19:16

Cbeebies was FANTASTIC!!!

dd's eyes were out on stalks when the teletubbies popped up.

Justin & Andy were great, where they get their energy from I don't know. I was shattered just watching them!!

worleywinterwonderland · 11/12/2008 20:54

went to the dungeons today, but had to come home as soon as we got out as ds1 felt ill, he was pale and hot and felt sick. but as we got to liverpool street, he was hungry so he had a cheeseburger, and then he started to feel better but as we had got all the way to the other side of london we caught the train hime instead of going all the way back, somim a bit gutted we didnt get to go to the tate as i really wanted to go and to the xmas markets at hyde park. but oh well, he's fine now!!! at least it didnt cost me hardly any money.

worleywinterwonderland · 11/12/2008 20:59

have to say the dungeons was very expensive for what is was. £56 for 2 adults and 1 child. ds2 was free. thankgod i cashed my tesco vouchers in for it or i would have been quite upset. we were rushed round quite quickly, not really given enought time to stand and read things, they were eager to get the next lot of people in and through i think. but some of it was pretty creepy, ds2 wasnt bothered at all by the actors, satan at the start welcomed us in and he kept waving and winking to ds2 and made ds1 really laugh. when we went on the little ride around in the dark i admit i had my eyes shut and was holding ds1's hand as i hate it when i know im going jump at something. as it was i screamed at the woman when all she was doing was telling us to get off the damn ride!!!!! the staff must p**S them selves laughing at the general public!!

and i wanted to go to nancys steps...hmph

worleywinterwonderland · 11/12/2008 21:02

ds2 is OBSESSED with the christmas tree, i have to turn it on as soon as we get in the room. if i dont he tried to switch it on himself, and he really cant reach so the tree will be going over soon, i can just see it...

theres a program now coming on about james bulger. i dont think i can watch it, dp will come home and i will be crying. going to put mtv on or something i think.

JennstarOfWonder · 12/12/2008 06:07

Hey folks. Been a bit busy. We are moving a week on saturday fingers crossed [tensenervousheadacheinanegrin] - oh make that a festive one too...

I can't beleive it. There is so much to do. Despite running the freezer and cupboards down there is still loads to eat.

Hope everybody is well. Been up since 5.15 because my nose was dripping and PING that was me awake thinking about everything that needs doing. DD is going to mil on the Friday night until Saturday night. Ds is going to be a pain in the bum, but bil, my mum, my sister and her fella will turn up at lunch time to help and stay over. Removal company says they will arrive at 7am....

Antibiotics (again) for throat

JennstarOfWonder · 15/12/2008 14:28

Get well soon Macdog. Just going to solicitors to sign for house thingies. Been up since 4.15. Shouldn't have had that nap yesterday.

worleywinterwonderland · 15/12/2008 14:49

oohhh all eciting for jenn, i have a sore throat too macdog, i think im going to have to get some ben and jerrys to numb it a bit
have to take ds2 to the drs at 5pm he has had runny poop for 2 weeks, not quite diarrhoea (sp?) but not normal, so wondering if he is developing an allergy to other food now. also he has a sore winky (well above his winky not his actual winky) and seems a bit swollen so get the dr to llok at that also, good job he doesnt care who he flashes his bits off to!!

oh the joys!!

and the pup is getting really lazy, he will not go back to the kitchen to use the paper when he wants a wee, wherever he is will do for him, he thinks, if hes shut in the kitchen its fine, so he knows what to do he just wont blinkin do it. my friend has a cage shes going to give me see if that helps a bit?
dont know what else to do? going to try to start puppy classes this week.
