Guess who's done ALL their Christmas shopping then!!

Took dd to see George Square in Glasgow today. All lit up for Christmas. She went on the Carousel (getting to be an addiction) and had great fun.

So cold and foggy today, been freezing my ass off all day.

Highlight of the day was some pipers playing the Hokey Cokey - complete with actions - in Buchanan Street

Pipers sound fab. I love the weather right now. I've nearly finished my Christmas shopping. I just need to find out if Blacks sell mapcases on line and I'm done.

I bought DD some party shoes yesterday as she hates her boots and as she turns 3, suddenly she is being invited to a load of parties. She absolutely LOVES them. these I went in to check on her last night and she had put them on and was asleep with her body on the bed, and her feet on the floor. SO cute.

Jennster · 30/11/2008 17:17

But in a mauvey colour.

Jennster · 30/11/2008 17:18

I've also written 80% of my Christmas cards and all the presents I DO have are wrapped and labelled [big fat raspberry]

Bollards. Just walked into town with Ds who is still really sick. He was all snuggly and warm and cocooned and it was a lovely walk. Anyway I was trying to return a dress for dd in Debenhams without the receipt. Anyway it's bloody half price now. I've been through every bag, drawer, handbag, pocket and cannot find the bloody receipt and to top it all I forgot my purse, so couldn't even finish my Christmas shopping.

Macdog · 01/12/2008 13:18

hate it when that happens

party went well, all the dcs were petrified of Santa, so cue loads of screaming

i had a mass wrapping session this morning, while ds2 was at nursery. looking at themm all in piles, its looks like ds2 has got lots more than ds1, but i have to keep remindning my self that hes has about £150 worth of lego in just 3 boxes which is a hell of a lot of presents, so for that ds2 has lots of things. hopefully ds1 wont notice dont know who im trying to kid!

have nearly all my cards written and actually gave one out too!!

i forgot ds1 was born on st andrews day. he has davis as his middle name though, should have had andrew really i guess. my grandad was scottish. how he ended up all the way down here i dont know!

worley · 01/12/2008 14:42

not davis i meant david. when is st davids day? is it daffodil day? im going to have to search now...

worley · 01/12/2008 14:44

One of those days yesterday

dd took to screaming her head off, so bunged her in her buggy and took her out for a walk at which point the screams got ever louder until she was like an air raid siren going off.
Ended up in tears myself because I just couldn't get her to stop.
Brought her home and just as I got in the gate the wee bugger darling shut up.

she does have her back teeth breaking through so I'll let her off

poor macpup and mummy macpup.
the puppy has took to running up and down the room like a lunatic. some times he will take an alternative route of up the room and back again over the sofa. hopefully he will have worn himself out soon. he gets so over excited, by himself, we dont even have to do anything to him to be all excited.

have cleared corner ready for christmas tree, i usually have an old singer tredal base as the table in the alcove corner but i've had to move it now. it was bloody heavy. dp has wanted me to get rid of it for year, but i refused. i also have an old mangle in the front garden that i put plant pots on the top. he wants that to go also, but they arent going anywhere!!

Macdog · 03/12/2008 17:50
