lots of snow still here ds1&2 and puppy all been out in the garden playing in it. been to tescos where we had to wait to get out of the carpark as cars couldnt get up the little hill leading out of the carpark. was funny to watch, no accidents though. i glided a few times but ok.

working with my boss wasnt too bad, its hard having to make conversation ina very strained atmosphere.

i just made some more chutney and chilli jam, but then as i was putting everything away i realised i hadnt put all the chillies in, was 100g short, so as i just put in the jars i tasted some and its just sweet, no chilli taste at all. goning to have to make more now as im still 2 jars short for presents.

I am so P~SSED OFF and

You know how I've been running myself ragged chasing up the Christmas presents from the ELC, yeah??
I've been really worried and anxious about it, yeah??

Well...I messaged some of the mums on FB + Bebo to let them know I was expecting the presents to arrive this week (cos I called ELC again yesterday) and I would try and book a room for wrapping them at the Community Centre, ok so far???

I got home tonight, put on PC, logged into FB and there is a message from the Secretary to tell me that the presents arrived on Friday (delivered to Hall, not my address..BRAVO ELC(!)), and they've organised a room for Wed night.

The thing that is really upsetting me is that no-one thought to give me a ring/email/note through door/carrier pigeon to tell me the blasted presents had arrived.
And that I made a completely unnecessary phone call (at ELC maximum profit rate)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!

WHY DO I FRICKIN' BOTHER

Am tempted to just go after Christmas parties and let them get on with it

Thanks for letting me rant....again

Am no longer supertoddlerleadermum.
Have just written my resignation.

I pointed out to Secretary that I was narked that no-one bothered to let me know presents had arrived and it all went off a bit. Been in tears all morning over it, but don't think IABU

So I've resigned.

do they expect you to wrap all these presents as well macdog? and label them etc?
they do seem to be letting you do all the hardwork and sit back. they dont take the credit as well do they?

you'll be less stressed when your out of it i bet.

the snow has all gone from here now, its just really cold still.
i have a bottle of jacobs creek wien that i brought to give to the new nextdoor neighbour as a welcome, but every time i knock they dont answer (and i know their in [ i sound like a physco])
so i think i might just drink it myself tonight! its calling me....

Macdog · 24/11/2008 15:39

We book a room at the Hall and try and get parents involved in the wrapping/labelling.

I just got really upset that no-one thought to let me know that £550 worth of presents had arrived.

So not my problem now. Letters are written and waiting to be hand-delivered tomorrow.

enjoy yer vino Worley

Well, the Christmas parties are next week. The present wrapping is tomorrow night, and quite frankly I can't be arsed to go.

A couple of Mums came up today and said they were sorry to see me go, which was nice

Macdog · 27/11/2008 09:38

Phoned one of the mums last night.
ALL the gifts were there, apart from ELC had sent a car instead of a doll - not my mistake. So someone is sorting that out before the parties.
