I really wanted heavy rain driving home from London today as it was misty rain and I kept having to use spray thingy so could see.

If it was heavy I could have just used wipers

Blu - not bad here. Ds's snowman has melted into a demonic type disfigured statue, lit eerily by the moonlight and giving us the heeby-jeebies everytime we open the back door!! Mental note to self: drink more wine, kick it over.

We had a brill day here in Embra. A few showers, but lots of bright spells and not so bloody cold. Perfect weather for a long walk.

Looking forward to another day like that! Must take dd to make tiles for her grandmas for Mothering Sunday.

Yes, KangaMummy. It's one of those ceramic places where you decorate things - tiles, plates, mugs, etc.- how you like them and they fire them for you. Thought it would make a cool gift for the grans for dd to do some art on a tile. She loves fingerpainting in playgroup.

We went to one of those places in Berwick upon Tweed. It was called Potadoodledoo. Ds loved it!!

If you wanted something fired you would have to collect it the next day, but we were on holiday so couldn't do that. They had glass painting though and Easter egg decorating! Fantastic... i had a ball too.

There's one right near our home. You just drop in and they're ready to rock. Sounds like fun, too!

Uwila, it takes very little common sense to work out that a poster who's never posted on a thread before is either a serial lurker (very unlikely), a new poster (so how would they know who you were) or has changed their name - BINGO!!! I have been accused of having very little common sense but at least I've got enough for that. And as far as I can see I wasn't nasty to you at all, just very sceptical of a fan thread from someone who can't even use their own name!!!
