My friend told me today she was looking at the packs of frozen 'chip' products in the supermarket - apparently McCain Homefries contain only potato and sunflower oil - no E numbers or stabilisers - so maybe they'd be OK for your 'once weekly' chips?! I allow mine to have waffles occasionally but on checking ingredients tonight they do have stabilisers in so will be swapping to McCain for their 'treat' chips.

Just wanted to bump this thread.I signed this petition last week.We eat a very balanced and healthy diet in my house.But 2 wks ago I was appalled when 11 yr old son came in as Jamie was showing us a Turkey Twizzler and he said, 'Ooh I love those'!Couldnt believe that!My dh and I were appalled and live in a London Borough next to Greenwich!Have written to our mayor to persuade them to join scheme.Glad to see Turkey Twizzlers have now been banned.Phew!
