Just signed - and suggested "Breakfast clubs" too. Far too many kids in school without an adequate breakfast inside them.
Now - just need to find a petition for improving nutrition in hospitals.

The Food Programme with Jamie was repeated today - you can listen again on the link - oh he was wonderful, esp when he told himself off for ranting and stomped off talking to himself!

You'd never guess who we have to blame for the parlous state of school dinner provision, dinner-lady-Jools. I'll give you a clue...1980...

I mentioned this on the other Jamie thread but, quite apart from its other iniquities, DS2's school charges 15p for one toasted slice of a value loaf.

I do post on here but have had problems with my internet access since moving my study upstairs so took a mumsnet break for a few months, but am back.
