Wasn't there a very tasty young man presenting this show (alongside that intensely irritating cutesy pigtailed child-woman). I've not watched for a while, but this week he had been transformed into that slightly odd cousin who didn't have any friends, couldn't dance and smelt funny. So we won't be watching that again.

Hi everyone,

Very new to this so a little nervous. Has anyone got a clue as to who is the narrator on Storymakers? He's got a great voice and I can't find a name anywhere. Looking forward to joining this group though. My son will be 4 in April but already pretty much running the house!
Thanks, Cullster

Thing is - it obviously isn't AT but at first, it sounds like him

WigWamBam · 04/03/2005 20:26

Which narrator do you mean? The male and female voices to the stories are Nick Mercer and Alex Youill - who play Jelly and Jackson. The Playbook narrators are usually the Storymaker.

Cullster · 04/03/2005 20:31

Sorry, should have been a bit clearer. It's the narrator that does the actual story telling. When they create the stories, there's a guy that reads the "books". Like, he'll do the voice of Blue Cow etc. I can't find his name anywhere. It's not vitally important, I just find his voice fascinating. Culls

WigWamBam · 04/03/2005 20:37

That's Nick Mercer - the voice of Jackson.

Cullster · 04/03/2005 20:58

No way! I'm going to have to really listen to it now. All these cool things I'm learning!! My son puts the TV on and walks away, leaving me watching it. I just love Blue Cow! Should I be admitting this sort of thing??? Guess it don't hurt. We're originally from California and don't have these sort of shows. It's very cool.

Cullster · 04/03/2005 21:18

So, is this chat site just to discuss the TV channel or can we ask questions about children? Like, needing advice on subjects etc.?

Tommy · 04/03/2005 21:25

absolutely! Go to active conversations to see what's going on at the moment or topics to look at what else is around.
Have fun - most people here are addicted
