Jack has resurfaced on Twitter, changed her user name and has said that a hacker has been deleting some of her tweets while she's been having a physical and mental breakdown. She also says that she hasn't been able to access funds from her Patreon for nearly a year because it was hacked and she was locked out of it. Does anyone believe her?

Yes, it's the same account. She's just changed the username. Something about the hacker who'd been deleting some of her posts (which is an unusual thing for a hacker to do). But then, she said some of her tweets had disappeared when she had this new name version of her account. It's all too bizarre.

She's lying.

No. I was surprised when she came back though and acted as if nothing untoward had ever happened. It’s as if she’s decided she’s over all that (the patreon stuff, raising money to sue Lee Anderson etc) so everyone else - the supporting characters in her imaginary film of her life - should be too.

I wasn’t as surprised that it didn’t take long for her to start being arsey again.

She is very odd. She will tweet a whole load of ramblings and face tuned selfies, only to delete it all a day or two later. Why?

I feel sorry for her son. Her constant Tweets alluding to self harm and suicide means she’s either genuinely unwell if it’s true, or genuinely unwell if it’s not. I wonder what on earth goes on in his mind when he (she says) googles his mum and looks at her Twitter. She puts out so much information about him, that it’s very clear he doesn’t actually live with her, as he goes to school in his dad’s area which is a good distance from Jack’s massive oversized furniture showroom house. How nobody in her life says anything to shut her up is beyond me, her public life is one long insult to her parents.

She’s not clever enough to keep up with her own lies.
Hasn’t got her patreon money for a year, suggests it’s going to a fraudster, says she can’t sort it as she’s been so unwell, 5 minutes before tweeting she was living her best life.
She went in and changed the settings in her patreon a few months ago to hide how many followers she had anyway.

she only removed her patreon link from her bio as people shamed her over it, I think that tells you everything.

Fame has a very negative effect on some people and she would have been much better off living her life out of the public eye. She seems unable to do that now.

Interested to know if you ever get MN scolds on these Jack Monroe threads, pointing out the error of your ways, and doing their utmost to get the threads removed?

I'm only asking because there used to be threads on a less well-known grifter - Liz Fraser, fantasist, marriage wrecker and author of the dubious 'memoir' Coming Clean. The similarities between these two delusional women are uncanny, and it's nice to see that MN allows you to discuss Jack Monroe so openly.

Alas for the Liz Fraser threads, they were mostly taken down, apparently due to her fragile mental state (not so fragile she wasn't grifting money from survivors of domestic violence, whilst buying herself 2 properties and being on perpetual holidays).

Apparently the people commenting on her were the bad guys, something I never understood!

Not a word of it. She was taken to pieces by a very well-researched and well-written blog, can't remember the name of it sorry but it took her own tweets and exposed the inconsistencies and downright lies.

She may well have been suffering from health difficulties and if that is the case I hope she gets better soon. But when it comes to money, I don't believe a single word of it. The girl has cried wolf too often.

A witchhunt, or someone trying to expose an ongoing scheme to rinse impoverished people out of their money?

Anyone who thinks this woman isn’t a pathological liar, please see her latest Tweets where she says she’s walking around for 80 hours per week, leafleting and campaigning for Labour. Then see previous Tweets and Twitter bio going on about how disabled she is, and how her son definitely lives with her and so does the big dog she allegedly walks for something like three hours a day. Not sure how all of the above computes. Couldn’t send out her Patreon rewards or close the account, though! This woman has grifted hundreds of thousands of pounds for things that have never materialized, all under the guise of being poor and unwell. The illness she has is bloody Munchausens.

I saw that, her saying she was able to help her comrades out with 'super focused data, spreadsheets, maths, organisation and analysis utilising the VERY BEST OF MY AUTISM' (her capitals not mine). Unfortunately this Autism didn't help her with the promised Vimes Index she said she had a team working on. Or tell her Patreon subscribers she couldn't access her account. Or send them anything, ever. She is an absolute liar.

I thought she was so disabled she could only eat food with a spoon. Seems she’s fine to go leafleting now, it’s a medical miracle.

So disabled she can only eat with a spoon and yet so fit that she can heft 94kg sideboards up the stairs.

Didn't she try to stand as an independent in 2015 before stepping aside when she realised being an MP is quite hard work? This woman makes me laugh.

Does Jack not understand that portraying autistic people as idiot savants and Rain Man is bloody offensive?

Sadly her super focused analysis abilities don’t seem to have been used to complete the VBI.

She gave a few grand to a food bank, having seen what people get given online I’d be super shocked if that was all she was given. The fact is was done through her personal PayPal and not just giving is super suss to me.

She's super suss all over. I used to follow the tattle threads, but it all got a bit too much trying to keep up with them and there were too many in jokes.

She didn't sue or give the money back. She said she'd given some money to a food bank but if my memory serves me well, was very vague about how much, which food bank and when etc. But that's normal for her.

I actually don't understand how she gets away with it. I don't normally play the identity politics thing cos I hate it, but no way would she have been able to coast along this long if she'd been a Black man. Or an overweight unattractive woman. Or a cranky looking Karen type with right wing views. Nothing wrong with being any of those things btw but you know what I mean (I hope!)

I can’t abide her. I run a food bank. Her “Oh, I can make a meal with 26p and some veg stock” shtick actively harms people living in food poverty.

Do you have any evidence that any of your clients have ever actually benefitted from or sought out any of her recipes or tips?

Because a big selling point of hers is that her books get given out at food banks
