Jack has resurfaced on Twitter, changed her user name and has said that a hacker has been deleting some of her tweets while she's been having a physical and mental breakdown. She also says that she hasn't been able to access funds from her Patreon for nearly a year because it was hacked and she was locked out of it. Does anyone believe her?

I've always felt a bit sorry for Jack and her son. She's clearly unwell and doesn't seem to have any genuine friends. I'm not sure what the witch hunt against her achieves?

I think people get annoyed when she keeps taking people's money, I feel anyone giving her money must be vulnerable.

I'd feel this way too if she hadn't been accepting substantial amounts of money from her followers, many of whom are hard up themselves, and misleading them about her personal circumstances, what she would give them in return, and what she was going to do with the money. She claims credit for things that have never even happened or were down to other people. Her recipes are not very good and not thoroughly tested. People should be a lot more sceptical before parting with hard cash in response to a sob story.

This is what I mean though. She's not clever enough to realize how unbelievable her lies and stories are. Really, she's incredibly lucky to be in the position she's in, which I think is largely down to luck? She doesn't seem to have any friends to sit her down and give it to her straight, which is a Shane as she needs it.

But. She now knows everything.

She knows she's taken people's cash - carries on.
She knows she can't cook - carries on.
She knows people know she lies - carries on.

There's a line between - being a bit dim, unorganised etc and doing it knowingly and with glee.

She is clever enough to set patron up, it takes one click to pause it.. she chooses not too.
She is clever enough to set up socks on SM, takes seconds to delete them... She chooses not too.
She is clever enough to negotiate TV Appearances, interviews and book deals... Bit a bit chaotic and unorganised when it comes to providing what was promised.

At.some point you have to look at someone and realise they're choosing to be inept when it suits.

Because if you go to @bootstrapcook it tells you to go to the new one named Jack. and @justjackmonroe.

Fair enough, just curious. I don't have an account so it's pretty much unusable for me.

Reason I'm asking is that her tweets have comments from her followers sympathising with her and telling her it's so awful that she's being trolled (?). They seem to believe everything she says and I can't understand why they don't at least question her? And the Patreons who continue to give her money when she has failed to provide what she promised them baffle me.

There's people that believe in flat earth, you can show them pictures of the literal globe, they'll still believe flat earth.

No but as I ignore everything she says and does it doesn't matter. Can't believe anyone is taken in by her though.
