how do you get on with your inlaws and how long do you estimate being with them?

we have a rave going on somewhere we've been warned by the police so im expecting a busy night, they were already broken up in norwich and they decided to come here. typical!!!

RAVE? That's surely 18 years too late?

Went to Manchester today as a family. Disastrous. Had a massive arguments with dh (both our faults) and I ended up sobbing behind Victoria station on my own, looking for the car. I am 30 in 2 weeks, mother's day next Sunday, Easter in 4 weeks, DH just doesn't know where to turn!

I was planning on spending some money for a birthday present for myself....just some clothes. I'm too big to feel nice in clothes that fit(ish) now, but then I don't really want to spend on clothes that (hopefully) won't fit in 6 months.

ds2 broke the memory card dooron dp's xbox that he brought on thursday, i didnt realise ds2 was sticking his fingers in it until i noticed the door hanging down and a spring thing hanging out. so of course i tried to fix it but couldnt so when dp got hime i had to tell him!! i thought he was going to blow a fuse!
so i took it back to the shop to see if they could exchange it, (i told a white lie and said that dp pulled the memory card out and it broke!) where upon the assistant stood there and took the cover off to fix it for me, i was then panicing and coming out in a cold sweat as i thought "oh s*t and was expecting him to retrieve a grape or something!!!! luckily there was nothing shoved in there and is apparently a common problem with the springs coming out. thankgod!!!

thankyou jenn.
had to take ds2 to the drs this morning. his nose wouldnt stop bleeding. he had a nose bleed yesterday which did stop and he had a few a couple of weeks ago at night time in his cot.
so he got some cream stuff which stopped it in the end, but trying to keep him still and put pressure on his nose is mission impossible!!

ds1 always gets nose bleeds too but im sure he wasnt this young when he started getting them though, they wont cauterise his nose though so he has to put up with them.

We went to Blackpool. It's not as good as Chester.

As far as places to go I love Glasgow and Edinburgh. When we had the Mini (pre children ) we whizzed up to Edinburgh one weekend and had a FAB time.

I'm getting quite good at hand expressing. I tried it last time and was rubbish. Imagine.... No sterilising, no washing up, just a jug to collect.....Wonder if ds will sup from a doidy [hopeful]

oh delightful Ive just eaten a family size galaxy, thank god Im pregnant...

I had a cup of coffee today, the first since I got pg and it was heavenly and didnt make me feel sick.

*smarty pants is rather good...

** we do get on ok with the inlaws, but MIL is a tad excitable/erractic since the change so she will be a handful to live with,

we think we'll be there 2-3 months tops. Absolute tops. but our house has been on the market for 3 weeks and no one has come to view it yet dont know whether to get another estate agent on the case and have a joint agreement, or whether it's just early days...

Hope you are all feelin' fine and dandy..will link you to our house

It's lovely Voodoo. It's early in the year. People don't really look as actively this time of year. Give it a couple of weeks. Are there any houses for sale in your street? What price are they?

I'll have a rummage down the back of the settee and see if I can come up with the asking price

hello,
had to force myself back to work today, i wasn't the only one of sick though this week so thats ok, they've been a bit short staffed but oh well. these things happen.
so i've decided monday i will try to start a proper diet and try to stop eating crap again. hopefully i will last a few days anyhow.

off to get ds1 and 2 new shoes tomorrow and to buy a mothers day card and pressie. ds2 made me one at nursery today, with random bits of tissue paper stuck on the card, he has more paint on his cltohes and hair than on the card!!

HAR bad time to mention I was 11lb 12? YES! tonight!!!! Lent is such a good time to loose weight. Just another stone to loose.

I'm having a 30th party next week. Think DH is unfairly leaving it all to me! Getting hair cut on Friday, and a facial on Saturday afternoon. Can see myself spending all day friday cooking and baking my cleaner is going to do extra for me.

I got a severe haircut, and a blonding. Love it. Feel younger and fresher, its my new profile pic.

The house took about a week and a half to tidy it to that level for the pictures, normally it is stuffed with shit, and it's back to a state again as we've had no viewings to tidy up for.

I am viewing one tomorrow which is a great location for us, I thought what the hell may as well take a look while we're down there visiting for mothers day.

Well done on the weight loss Jenn, I am nearly 14 stone already (only 19 weeks?!) I look like I am about 7 months, its ridiculous I am bleeding Massive.

Hope you feel better soon W, and thanks for checking the back of the sofa MD!!!!!!!!!
