Don't talk to me about getting children to sleep in beds. OMG. DD is up in the attic at the mo. She used to love to sleep and went down no problem. Now it's a battle. We moved her to a bed with a guard which she liked at first but is back in the cot. She won't have a duvet and she needs more than the blanket she will allow in her bed. She now has to have the light on at night, but that wakes me up. The sooner DS's bedroom is split into 2 the better.

Did I tell you we viewed a house???

Jennster · 06/09/2008 08:02

But we can't afford it

Jennster · 06/09/2008 08:08

We offered 350K but they haven't got back to us funnily enough. It's over priced but one of 5 houses we would live in, in the immediate area.

Macdog · 06/09/2008 08:59

we got dd snuggle sacs for her cotbed. it keeps her together through the night.

nice house BTW Jenn

worley · 07/09/2008 16:29

i had to take ds1's school trousers back yesterday, as the stiching all came undone on the crotch, so he was flashing his boxers!! (and they were from marks and spencers so not the cheap ones) they didnt have anymore in his size and am still waiting for more to come in stock, have already ordered them. so he is in his old ones for a few days, luckily i had kept hold of them.
had a look in tescos today and none in his size or they were grey and he has to have black, typical

dh working today AGAIN!
Went down to George Square to watch the start of the Great Scottish Run. dh's uncle was running the half marathon.
Met one friend from Toddler group and another from swimming.
Took dd along to the aquarium at Loch Lomond in the afternoon. wish I'd taken my camera cos the views along the Loch and of the Ben were extraordinary.
She spent a happy few hours belting around the place like a loony

worley · 07/09/2008 21:05

md, our hospital just got one of those new robot things that dispenses in the pharmacy so they dont have to have as many staff on at the weekend, except it keeps breaking down!! so not working as yet, they had to extend their dept, which meant they had to take half or our office as were next to them, and what a waste!

OP posts:
worley · 07/09/2008 21:05

jenn, you propbably know more about them too!

OP posts:
Macdog · 07/09/2008 23:00

dh is intrigued!!

Jennster · 08/09/2008 08:39

Those robots can be great, but they are only as good as the muppet that loads it with correct drugs. We had a wholesaler that in their infancy were a bit like that. They had a load of illiterate erm people who weren't as motivated as they could be, and consequently we regularly got things sent to us that were in similar looking packets, or similar sounding drugs and the like. Also the breakdowns were spectacular.

Date from LMP would be May2nd but I am convinced that I didn't ovulate 'til nearer day 21 so put the date nearer the 9th or 10th. I'm only 5 weeks. Dh still doesn't beleive me. No symptoms yet, but am eating stewed rhubarb, natural yoghurt and oats for breakfast. Am stewing some apple now to freeze, and just about to look for some maternity work trousers My current ones have just fallen apart, and so need some that will look like normal until it's time to let them out. No point in buying some brand new nice trousers to not be able to wear them in 6 weeks. I gave away all my maternity clothes

i bhave a feeling this one at work is a dutch machine.

ds2 can now pedal his little bike along!!!!!!! ds2 was about 6 by the time he could actually pedal any of his bikes. he can also do his scooter too, i think hes going to be a total outdoor type.
we went to his friend georges party at the weekend and ds2 insisted on taking the bike on the trampoline with him, i had to ban it in the end!!

when i picked ihm up from nursery today one of the girls told ds2 i was here and she walked towards me but ds2 stood in front of me shouting, "ITS MY MUMMY"!! i have never seen him shout angrily like that before, but he wasnt letting here near me for some reason! some times if im sitting with dp he has to sit on my lap and turns to him and says my mummy and laughs. i think we'll have to get this possessivness out of him!

May 2/9/10 is Aries isnt it? like my dh. How exciting, Jenn, Have you got your head round it yet??

still noone has viewed our house, but I reckon the market will shift round soon as everyone will start buying low,,(hopefully) a few round us are starting to sell so fingers crossed. There arent any in Wolverhampton that we like at the moment though, keep scanning rightmove when I have a second.

might not be on pooter for a bit as virus protection thingie has run out ...

i was looking at my facebook pics at all my different hairstyles through the years, and now its really short and I cant decide whether to a) stay natural colour (dark blonde) b)go bleached again or c) dye it brown for a bit...
decisions!!! Ds being a nightmare at mo, think he's in middle of big growth spurt. he is either asleep,. yelling or feeding. and he is mostly feeding.
dont want to go out today its all cold and wet and I have a blossoming chest infection/productive chesty cough thing. feel crap, but also guilty about not taking them outside.

WhippyVoodoo · 09/09/2008 14:14
