Very rarely dd left in car alone. dh locks her in before leaving to pay.

dd not christened, we're a bunch of heathens

What weather doing in your parts of the world?
We've got another glorious sunny day, so Macdog & Pup will be out and about enjoying
Makes a change, we had hailstones yesterday!

Macdog · 16/04/2008 19:09

Oh well so much for that.
Got really cold after lunch, so we made messy paintings instead.

Her fave new thing is a sheet of wrapping paper with the alphabet on it, with pics for each letter. I've bunged it in a frame and it is currently propped up against dh (he makes a lovely easel)!!
Tomorrow I really should nail it up on the wall

JennsterSlugSlayer · 16/04/2008 20:45

We were bright and sunny but cold in the morning, and then just cold and overcast this afternoon.

DS had his second settling in session at nursery today. I have to go back to work in 2 weeks

Macdog · 18/04/2008 13:57

dd's bags are packed, she's off to Gran's tonight

The Macdogs shall be imbibing many beverages (I really, really love you, I do) !!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo!!

Macdog · 18/04/2008 18:14

VoodooCoconut · 18/04/2008 19:27

jealous jealous wine giveth me awful hearttburn

Macdog · 19/04/2008 08:59

The sun is shining....the birds are singing.....and dh has a hangover! Ha ha ha ha!!!!
Was a really cheap bar last night, blue WKD & a malt whisky (not in same glass!) £4!!

Wandered home about 12.30 clutching chips n' cheese (mmmm...healthy )

JennsterSlugSlayer · 19/04/2008 13:44

Feel very virtuous. Had less than half a bottle of wine last night.

Dh went out in Manchester with his mates, and I did all the dinner bath bed on my own. One night waking at 5.40, as I've decided that waking ds at 11ish although makes him sleep through to the morning, means he isn't learning to do it by himself. DD been very good and got breakfast, nappies, teeth, dishwasher, washing load done on my own, and we were out of the house by 9.30 to get her some new shoes. We are now in size 22. (5?) and got lunch sorted before dh got home. Now they are all asleep. [phew]

Macdog · 19/04/2008 14:37

Got new fishes today!
Got 5 ickle neons, they sooo cute
(I do realise my definition of cute here is far removed from everyone else's)

Macdog · 19/04/2008 20:05

Can't even find the body, maybe it dissolved ????????

JennsterSlugSlayer · 19/04/2008 21:13

Macdog · 20/04/2008 10:59

Looks gorgeous Jenn, when you going???

(Still 4 neons.....still no body)

JennsterSlugSlayer · 20/04/2008 20:19

Last week of June. We had guppies years and years ago. They just multiply at the rate of knots. They are indestructible.

worley · 20/04/2008 21:59

at jenn getting to go on holiday
been to ds1's st georges day parade with the cubs today, it was all of the beavers, cubs and scouts from our district so about 200 of them there. thevpiolice stopped the traffic for them and they marched about a mile to the church then back to a little school field where we picked them up from.
i walked along the path next to them and waited outside the church while the went in for the service. ds2 had a whale of a time playing in the graveyard area!!! i had to draw the line at him trying to climb on the crypts through!!! i dread to think what the other [arents were thinking!!
when ds1 started the march i was having to try hard not to cry i was so proud of him!! hhow bizarre these motherly instincts are..

VoodooCoconut · 22/04/2008 21:38

just realised dd shouting
'Balla' is Balamory

this morning we had a bizarre conversation

dd- there's a mouse!
me- where is a mouse?
dd - dunno! dunno! Dunno!

this happened at two different intervals am wondering if there is, indeed a mouse somewhere in the kitchen...

Neon Tetras! retro pets, we had a tonne of them in my dad's tropical fishtank - I think the gouramis ate them, though, or the tiger barbs

VoodooCoconut · 22/04/2008 21:40

my mother*ing morning sickness has started agin...last three mornings my head has been right down the sink. Yuck. And I am bl**y week 27 tomorrow what's going on!!!

VoodooCoconut · 22/04/2008 21:41

dd sat saying 'sh*t' quietly in the lounge today so am trying to curb foul language outbursts

JennsterSlugSlayer · 23/04/2008 08:57

at sh*t.

My sister said b*llocks in front of dd and she went happily repeating it boll-ucks, boll-ucks boll-ucks. She was mortified and went pale and took a deep breath and made a big deal, but we decided to ignore it. It's when they can see a reaction they will remember it!

JennsterSlugSlayer · 23/04/2008 08:58

My cousin, her dh and baby over today. They live in NY normally and are in the UK for 6 days. I can't wait. Her dd is 5 months old, and I haven't seen them for over a year.

Macdog · 23/04/2008 11:00

dd chirps 'DAM'T' on regular basis

She also is good at bizzare convos:
dd: Pleece car (police car)
me: Where?
dd: Away......
me: ????

Sorry to hear you puking again, Voods. Hope it passes soon

Off to get my new spaecs today, got the ones with free reactions lenses, of course now I've got reactions it will rain for the rest of the summer

worley · 23/04/2008 14:50
