Got halfway there and realised she was still wearing her SLIPPERS !!!!!!!!

OP posts:
Macdog · 13/04/2008 16:58

Good for her !

dh working today, so dd and I up at 7am to accompany/mooch round Glasgow.
Unfortunately dd puked in car on way (naturally no spare clothes) so had to go Tesco hunting. Found one 10 mins walk from dh's work so managed to get her kitted out. Girls clothes were nasty, so she's cross-dressing . Gorgeous blue/red/grey stripey t-shirt and grey trackies. Manages to look even girlier in them than she does normally
Insurance didn't cover wedding ring , so have bought a cheap silver band

Hope you're feeling better Jenn, or at least managed to cork it

Macdog · 13/04/2008 18:36

OMG have just heard news about Mark Speight

Such a sad end to a tragic story

JennsterSlugSlayer · 13/04/2008 22:20

Hello all.

Well I'm feeling much better, but not 100%. I've lost 5lbs. Maybe I could keep it off! That would be fab. I am going for full on diet here on in.

Night night

worley · 14/04/2008 14:32

i caught in on the gmtv news this morning and then on way home radio1 news are saying he hung himself

OP posts:
worley · 14/04/2008 14:35

i had my worst night duty ever, a drunk driver pulled out in from of 2 other cars on the dual carridgeway and hit them, he killed the driver of one car, a father, his 3 children in the back and his wife in passenger seat survived, and another car driver was ereally badly injured. i got hime a burst in to tears when dp asked how my night had gone! i just keep seeing those poor childrens in my head, their mum was in resus while i had to xray all 3 of them also.

i want to go work at tescos now i think

OP posts:
JennsterSlugSlayer · 14/04/2008 14:50

poor Worley. What a horrible night.

that's sick again folks. Maybe I could keep this diarrhoea going until I reach my target weight. Only 10lbs to go now.

Macdog · 14/04/2008 17:39

Such a waste of life, Worley

On flip side, glad you got a positive spin on D&V Jennster

Spent day at farm park today. dd hasn't stopped running all day.
Will post pics on FB as soon as I get a chance

Catch up soon

VoodooCoconut · 14/04/2008 20:38

drinking and driving is one of the most damaging crimes, innocent people are the ones who get hurt the worst.

hope you are feeling a bit better Jenn

Hello MD! noone will ever know it is a silver one just say it's platinum!

went to my bf christening on sun,.was godmother. Was really lovely ceremony, made me decide to get mine done together.
Are any of yours christened? I was in two minds till I went on sunday.

JennsterSlugSlayer · 14/04/2008 21:02

Both of mine have been 'done' Voodoo. My Dad's cousin is a deacon, and so he did the honours.

VoodooCoconut · 14/04/2008 21:06

yeah I think it is lovely to.

how are you feeling?

Have you seen the medical thread? PMSL at it

JennsterSlugSlayer · 14/04/2008 21:29

I'm feeling much better thanks. Not feeling queasy anymore and managed to eat today.

JennsterSlugSlayer · 14/04/2008 21:54

Omg. Just realised how many people won't leave kids in the car when paying for petol Seriously though, some people think it's tantamount to child abuse!

worley · 15/04/2008 20:59

neither of mine have been "done" we just never got round to it with ds1 and he is so anti god at them moment anyway, he wouldnt do it, he even refuses to say prayer at cubs at the mo..

i have left the boys in the car togetehr when paying for petrol, but i can see them ans i lock them in. ds1 know to honk the horn if he gets worried. at our tescos where i normally get the petrol i can pay at the pump which i do quite a bit too.

OP posts:
VoodooCoconut · 15/04/2008 21:34

I always leave dd when I pay...can never use those pay at the pump things they always eat my card/cock up
I watch her out the windows while I pay though
