VoodooCoconut · 23/04/2008 19:30

it has been sunbathingly beautiful today - got some nice pics of dd and I in't garden shame I look so dog-rough

JennsterSlugSlayer · 24/04/2008 08:54

Gorgeous weather here yesterday too.

My little cousin is sooo pretty.

Off to a spa today. I won the prize while I was pregnant, but just getting round to claiming it. Dh will be bringing ds at lunchtime for a feed, and then

Macdog · 24/04/2008 18:55

and then.......?

Ooh the suspense

back to swimming today, dd jumping in off the side like she's been doing it for years
Hit Ethel Austin for bargains, got new lippy. need to go when I don't have dd for full browsing effect

JennsterSlugSlayer · 24/04/2008 19:54

I went shopping. I had a mini facial and a back shoulder and neck massage. DS is definitely feeding less than normal. He is teething though and in loads of pain

My sister finished with her new fella, and is eagerly awaiting the results of an interview she had yesterday.

worley · 25/04/2008 11:06

we had a massive clear out at dp's mums yesterday, i had the day off due to school teachers strike. but am off today as already had booked a days holiday, i had planned to finish painting the hall, but instead we have to finish clearing out his mums house.

i know have all the crap here instead now, she was really bad a hoarding stuff and for some reason she used to but really cheap crap from pound shops then store it every where, so i put some of it on ebay last night and will do some more every day. there are lots of cliff richard things so hopefully some one will want it. she had about 4 bag of wall plugs!! why i dont know!!
am just waiting for dp to get back from the shop then off we go again. im hoping monday when im off too i can get the hallway finished as i started it when i was about 10 weeks pregnant and never got round to finishing it off, im sooo looking forward to actually getting a hall carpet again instead of the bare wood stairs we've had for the past 6 years!!!

just spent a small fortune on crocs got ds2 some new ones for the summer as he can have them to wear instead of staying in his startrite shoes all day. i got him some with thomas the tank engine on and some with the disney cars on. i brought 2 pairs of each as looked on ebay and they were selling for £31 a pair so thought i might jump on the band wagon as due to the exchange rate i brought them for £15, so hopefully they will pay for them selves. i got some for work also, (not thomas or cars ones though!!) some black ones with no holes in as they dont let us wear them with the holes now.

am off to order GTA4 for dp's birthday now...

can you tell i got paid this weekend!!

are you all ok ??? are you hanging in there voodz??

Hi worley

I bought some very cheap £6 immitation crocs for dd. She started coming home from nursery in pumps that weren't hers when we were potty training her, so figured we could wash the crocs if she peed in them.

we abandoned the potty training when she had d and v and after that she had regressed badly. Will start again in a month or so. At least the weather will be warmer then.

Hope everybody ok. I have a stinking cold. Feel like shit and was up at 4.40, 5.50, 6.20 and then up for good at 7. NEED MORE SLEEP. Thinking of giving up night feeds and supplying water in a cup.

worley · 28/04/2008 12:06

my tescos shopping just arrived and i have discovered my kitchen is not big enough for a months shopping at once. i have no where to put all the kitchen towels and packed lunch items. so im just going to have to eat all the tunnocks sitting there... or i shall go hide them upstairs in ds1's bedroom so i cant see them, out of site out of mind and all that. they are calling me already...........

It's....................

Macdog the Plague Carrier !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there, we've all had gastroenteritis this weekend, wasn't that fun!
dd started puking Sunday pm in car, we thought travel sick/unused to sun.
She couldn't even keep down water, so after a few hours we took her to GP out of Hours service. Given Diorolyte and usual advice. We were just at door to leave when I spewed all over floor
After cleaning it up we got home. dd went to sleep eventually, then the fun really began.
Oh the joys of sitting on the loo with your head in a bucket!(aren't you glad you're still reading!)
Then a few hours after that dh decided he was feeling left out and joined in the fun too! We've only got one bathroom, so that was fun!
Hopefully we're all on mend now. dd on baby jars, as it's all that'll stay down,. dh back to work tomorrow.

Catch up soon, x

Macdog · 29/04/2008 16:02

Oooh! Which variety of Tunnocks, Worley???
If I was feeling better I'd help

JennsterSlugSlayer · 29/04/2008 20:57

Tunnocks Mmmm just had the mallow cake.

Macdog. We had that 2 weeks ago. I lost 5 lbs! Poor dd was skin and bones. I REALLY feel for you. Hope the Macdogs are feeling better soon.

Got a stinking cold myself. Feel like shite and so do the children. We ALL had a sleep this afternoon. I woke up at 5.15 with sweat dripping into my bra and realised we had all been asleep 2 hours. DS NEVER sleeps that long, but he had 2 hours this morning too.

Poo story here.....
DD pooed in the potty, and on inspection decided it looked like a penis. When I said NOOO she decided it looked like a cone. It did too! I had no idea she knew what a cone looked like.

Macdog · 29/04/2008 21:30

That's cheered me up, Jenn

Macdog · 29/04/2008 21:32

dh & I back to normal, dd not been sick today (touch wood) and she was back to bouncing along with Carrie & David so she's feeling better !

Am trying out my Mooncup for first time (how MN am I???).

worley · 29/04/2008 21:38

glad your better macdog, has the sickness voodoo?

they were the teacake type tunnock, with a massive marshmallow bit.....they were yummy, between ds1. ds2 and i they have all gone now. so all he has left is the cake bar things he likes and i dont so they are safe!! i used to try making fairy cakes for his packed lunch but they didnt last the eve, as dp loves home made cakes, so in the end its easier to get ds1 the mr kipling cake bars he likes and he brings one down every morning for his pack lunch. (he doesnt do school dinner, unless its xmas dinner)

MMmm Tunnocks Tea cake

worley · 29/04/2008 21:41

i liked your poo story, when ds1 was ickle, my cousin was having a family get together and had brought a big tub of jelly sweets, ds1 ate all the blue ones and the next day he done the brightest blue poo in his potty you could imagine. my cousin thought it was hilarious when i told her. BUT just think of all that colouring!!! what must our insides be like!!

Mooncup

Have considered a mooncup but not had a period for 3 years. Don't intend to have one for another couple either.

JennsterSlugSlayer · 29/04/2008 21:43

HI Worley. What about baking a fruit loaf you cut slices off?

worley · 29/04/2008 21:56

ds1 doesnt eat fruit (except bananas and apples)ds2 is so different he eats last week i tried sneaking some sultanas in some fairy cakes which he was eating, and then had to run to the bin and spit it out. he thought at first they were choc chip and then realised they werent! i dont know what to do with him. ever scince he was weaned he has hated veg and fruit. i remember him being 4 months )as thats when it was weaning time back then) and i gave him some cauliflower, and he was gagging and sick every where BUT give him anything like yogurt or meat and he was fine, ds2 is so so different, he was standing at the worktop shouting "more more" this afternoon as he had finished his bowl of grapes and wanted more! even though he had eaten nearly half the bunch and a Nanna (as he calls bananas)

Lovin' my Mooncup! (don't worry, you're not getting TMI)

dd polished off jar of baby porridge then demanded "GIRAFFE ON!!" (Baby Beethoven DVD) so am getting peace and quiet for a bit!

As for Tunnocks, I adore the Caramel Logs and have done since I was ickle!

VoodooCoconut · 30/04/2008 19:28

hello guys

glad youre better MD and family
Jealous of ebay shopping sprees Worley!
love the penile poo Jenn

Well, I am sick every morning now and most lunchtimes! Unbelievable. Am def. def. def. not having a 3rd baby after this one good lord. 12 weeks to go, and already my hips keep me awake at night, theyve gone a bit sciatic with achey pain all down to my ankle on the right side. Glumness.
Had to go to docs to check a mole that had changed , she reckoned it is fien and due to pregnancy hormonal pigment things. She suggested I take paracetamol for my hips. Useful.
Anyhoo, dd singing to herself in her cot so am trying not to laugh as I type...glad you are all OK X

worley · 01/05/2008 00:09
