we got to 1000 again....made me reminisce about our original thread all those months ago

woohoo, I got a bottle of veuve and a nice card, am going to wait a while before drinking it though as I've been poorly. we also had a nice lunch out at Nandos and dd enjoyed her spicy chicken and pitta bread. I had planned to go to church as well but just didn't get time as we all slept in late this morning.

We didn't get to see SIL and Connor as she was feeling very tired and emotional but lo had some x-rays today which showed things are improving with air and fluid flow so they can remove the drains soon. I have now seen a picture of him but can't wait to give his mum some hugs.

Egg - thats great news about nursery for dts, I think it will be good for them but doubly important for you to have some child free time even if you are cleaning.

egg - totally skipped the bit about the dts going to nursery! that'll give you a bit of time to yourself. I've been worrying about how you'll get that when your doula leaves.

marmite - fab news about Connor, it seems like things are looking up

For you to even be pleased about a bottle of wine shows how much better you must be feeling, you'll soon be 100% (fingers crossed) And well done for getting a lie in.

We went to Asda

I went to brighton for a trip to the aquarium today and then had fish and chips on the pier...a million weight watchers points in one go...

I got the Brits 2008 cd from dd3 and some lovely flowers from dd1 and dd2.

those two events weren't connected in any way, were they, fred? You didn't eat the fish from the aquarium with your chips?

No i didnt eat Dory and Nemo Squonk!!! Definitely haddock!!

Was imagining us all with our tiaras stuffing our faces with fish and chiips!

am really looking forward to fish and chips with tiaras, we'll have to grab some random member of public to take a picture

am very excited about Brighton with tiara and wedding dresses (well, I'll be in my jeans )

Have often thought of those little rides, they were my littlies first roller coasters!

oooooooooooooh hopefully DS1 will be big enough this year . And he wont be the smallest as we will have marmite's DD, Phono's DS and my DTs (blimey, a few extra then!). Hopefully my buggy board will arrive today or tomorrow and I can get DS1 used to it, but will take sling as well just incase he needs to rest a bit more.

Marmite so pleased connor is doing well, makes me realise how lucky I am that the DTs didn't need to go to SCBU (or DS1 for that matter, but more likely with them).

DS1 up at 6:15 today. I think the light mornings are waking him. Not pleased.

Fred, I am a firm believer of being good MOST of the time on a diet. At least fish and chips has some good too (fish is very nutritious after all). Was v jealous you were there yesterday.

I don't think that dp believed that I would ever actually meet up with someone that I met on t'internet... till I turned up to meet him at a pub in Putney with Egg in tow

Since then, he refers to you lot as my "pretend friends" and when I try to explain that I have actually met you (well, half of you, he doesn't have to know that ) he just smiles to himself.

In that case Squonk you and your littlies really PILED down alot of fish and chips that day!!!
