we got to 1000 again....made me reminisce about our original thread all those months ago

Am so proud of her

have a stupidly inane grin on my face and I suspect it will be there for the rest of the day. Am torn between hoping that she gets as much rest as poss, and wanting her on her computer NOW so we can have every detail.

Am going with the rest half though (because I'm nice)

Sent her a text telling her congrats from all of us.

Should we get together and buy her some flowers or chocolates or something from us as a group?

Yes Squonk, brill idea!!! We need to know if she's at home or hospital for flowers though.

Plus I think webcam from her hospital bed should have been arranged well in advance!!

I will try to find out where to send them (without asking her)

Who wants to do the honours as far as collecting, ordering and sending is concerned?

I don't mind doing that Squonk, similarly I don't mind if you wanted to. Shall we choose the flowers together? Where shall we order them from..Ohhh we need pink AND blue!!!!

Only had time to check scrabble this morning, and was just settling in for MN time when the power went off (was planned due to work on the new flats opposite). So went off to waterbabies at 10:45 where dd proceeded to scream the entire class . Was shopping in baby dept store in windsor when I got the arrival text so unfortunately just had to buy some presents (strangely I had already bought a card at 13:30pm).

Definately very broody now, I can't stop grinning

And marmite - twas the shortest twin labour in history, I think. It was four hours from me getting a text saying "oops, I think I'm in labour" to getting a text saying "oh, guess what, had a couple of babies!"

dressedup - don't worry, we won't expect you to contribute to flowers but we would still love you to be one of us and chat with us.

and I meant to say - she will be in hospital for a few days at least, she has her own room. Don't know which ward yet but tis the Royal Winchester or something similar. Think there is only one in Winchester so shouldn't be difficult to track it down.

Will wait and see what flowers we like and how much they are before I send any money, then hopefully we can get her what we want rather than what we can afford iykwim.

Have had a trawl through that site, and others, and it looks like we have to choose either a blue teddy or a pink teddy. Have asked for advice on the twins thread, in case I am missing something or perhaps they know of how to go about getting an extra teddy...
