I am piggy in the middle at 32. I felt OLD til I met the other Zappatas!! HEHEHEHEHE.

DS2 is crying .

fryalot · 28/02/2008 09:32

old?

old?

now who's old, eh? eh?

Egg · 28/02/2008 09:45

Hmm, not sure my pelvic floor is up to starjumps .

DS2 is still crying . He had done his first poo in 38hrs. I have changed him but I think he wants to do more. WHY OH WHY do my boys have poo issues?

DD has now joined in the crying .

Thank god DS1 is not here to put his twopenceworth in... Although he was the one who started the ball rolling this morning before 7.

So how is everyone today? Fred, what time is your appt? Hope you come away feeling positive . And then get on with some boffing...

fryalot · 28/02/2008 09:49

egg - are you giving them water as well as milk? If they won't take it, give them the odd bottle of slightly watery milk.

Twill help with the poo issues, I promise

fred - sending good doctor vibes to you

old? pah!

Egg · 28/02/2008 09:58

Both have water now and then, in fact might give DS2 some now as he is not due to feed til at least 10:30 but preferably nearer to 11:30 and he is still crying. Poor monkey. He is a bit tired. DD only had water for the first time yesterday but she poos fabulously . DS1's poos are getting better, he is having lactulose in his milk twice a day. He had four poos on Saturday [proud].

Dropdeadfred · 28/02/2008 10:11

I feel like a real old crone now... don't belive the sprightly squonk is older than me and Phono and Egg could be my daughters (well you know)..

The doctor said i couldn't be referred for infertility advice yet as it's nota year since was last pg...but she is making me an appt for an ultrasound to ensure my geriatric insides are still normal looking and a day 21 progesterone test to see if i am menopausal ovulating...
Better than nothing I guess...

OP posts:
fryalot · 28/02/2008 10:19

well, fred, better than nothing I suppose. And it might show up something that is fixable.

I need to know how old marmite is now. Where is she?

(and if egg can do 100 miles on her bike, she may as well do a few more and come and visit me!)

Dropdeadfred · 28/02/2008 10:22

Marmite looks young too

OP posts:
fryalot · 28/02/2008 10:23

yeah, she does, doesn't she.

I suspect I am the geriatric of the group.

Dropdeadfred · 28/02/2008 10:25

Hmm..I was going to check out a care home for my honeymoon...

OP posts:
fryalot · 28/02/2008 10:28

I've heard they don't let married couples share a room

so p'raps not, eh?

Dropdeadfred · 28/02/2008 10:29

Oh no dear...we don't have any of that silliness at our age...!! We might dislocate a hip or something..

OP posts:
fryalot · 28/02/2008 10:50

hmm... I suppose it's not strictly necessary to share a bed on one's honeymoon

I'll check out some homes for you

Dropdeadfred · 28/02/2008 10:51

Thanks......
i think...

Egg · 28/02/2008 11:21

ROFL. You are both really rather young, esp to have TEENAGERS.

Fred I had that test done when I was TTC DS1, it showed I was ovulating... I guess that's what it's supposed to do! But you kind of want it to show a prob so you can sort it.

Would have thought given your past history that infertility is not the issue as you have not had a prob getting pregnant (or maybe you did, sorry am not 100% sure). Can't they look into the possible causes of the mc's as well? I remember us talking about lupus last year but think that was v unlikely. Anyway, fingers crossed for you! Don't forget my mum was 41 when I was born (and 37 when my sis was born, her first child!).

Think marmite is quite young. When I met her in the flesh she had that youthful glowy look . I have a craggy, too much booze, too many sunbeds, not enough sleep kind of look. No sunbeds for 3 years I hasten to add, but the damage is done .

fryalot · 28/02/2008 11:22

when you say too young to have teenagers.... are you calling me a slaaaaag?

eh?

eh?

Egg · 28/02/2008 11:26

Heheheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, well I wasn't, but now you come to mention it....

Egg · 28/02/2008 11:27

S'pose I ought to feed the small, fat, crying boy . It has been 3hrs and 52 mins since last feed... By the time I change him and make the milk he will have held out for 4 hours, although to be honest he has NOT held out by choice.

Tesco delivery due 12-2 so better get him fed before they get here.

Dropdeadfred · 28/02/2008 11:27

she finks we woz knocked up round the back of the bike sheds Squonky!!

Egg...wedidn't really have problems..but haven't been using any contraceptives since dd3 was born and no pgy (other than 2 mcs).
I was tested for lupus but tests were clear..as were all other chromosome tests and tests for antibodies/sticky blood etc...

OP posts:
Dropdeadfred · 28/02/2008 11:28

Hey Squonk..notice how we didn't have a 'youthful glow'..?

We just had 'slapper' tattooed on our forehead...

OP posts:
fryalot · 28/02/2008 11:31

Egg · 28/02/2008 12:29

You two are sooooooooooo juvenile. Clearly a mid-life crisis .

Tesco man turned up at 11:45. Normally I would be over the moon when they get here early but I was in the middle of feeding DS2, who was not amused at the interruption. He yelled, and his foghorn yell woke up DD, who yelled as well. Tesco man scarpered as quick as he could, think we scared him .

Still, at least I am not waiting for him now, and can kind of relax, as much as you can with two small babies and a bombsite house.

Dropdeadfred · 28/02/2008 13:00
