my DHs friends baby has just died:(

What a terrible thing to happen.

he stopped breathing in night and they had to bring him back three times, and DH just phone his mate and then said "he dies " and shot out the door

how awful . Must be horrible for you to sit at home waiting and wondering.

Maybe give him a ring if he has a mobile and ask if there is anything you can do.

How old was the little boy ?

he was just under 1

Don't know what to say mieow except that your husband is a great friend to rush over so quickly to help. You must be so shocked are you close to them too? I do hope he contacts you soon. This is very sad.

she is living in a refuse as her ex really did a number on her, she has 3 other kids, all boys

I'm not sure what I'd do, maybe call dh and ask if there is anything you can do? It might be as simple as making some meals for them to put in the freezer so they don't have to get out to the supermarket but you'll feel better for asking.
