I didn't understand what that meant at first!
The conversation I was about to have when I picked up the phone that day was supposed to be sooooo different. I was prepared for that conversation because I made notes after last nights conversation. This conversation (taken in a meeting room at work, around 2pm, PRE-LOCKDOWN) was supposed to include no babies...
We have a 4 year old boy and have just had a baby girl who was 1 years old in July 20.
... This conversation was always going to be sad, heart-breaking and soul destroying but I expected it and we discussed it, planned it and prepared for it...

She called me coming out of the clinic saying she can't do it... Its TWINS!

Ha! We had 3 in 2 and a half years. My hubby did actually have a bit of a breakdown but all is well now thankfully. Good luck

@ibook Defo not fictional but its as real as it gets, I find it quite funny that you even think that. I spent alot of time thinking about how to express myself and decided enough was enough. people wont actually understand untill you have a house full of kids!! Fictional looool

@Notashandyta That is funny because, in the short space of time the twins have been here we are both have had a few... The stress is neither of our faults (well kind of unture) so we can't complain about each other. Just tears and exhausted looks to each other. I think tiredness is playing a big part but I think we are hopin gthat they start sleeping through the night a bit longer now. Love to the Hubby! Would love to here his side x

@Notashandyta Sure, sorry if I wasn't clear.

1. I live with 4 children all mine.
2. Y (Boy) is 4 years old, X (Girl) is 1 and 3 months, Z & Z (Twin Girls) are 4 months.
3. Im not expecting any more kids (that I know of). I feel like My Better Half has been pregnant for 2 years. Think she needs a break from being pregnant.

Hope that clears things up.

Ours are still only 3, 5 and 6. But its much, much easier. It will be a long couple of years but see it through together and dont worry about low standards is my advice to you both! Genuinely, good luck. You word things in bit of a crazy way but I get what you mean. And it's TRUE, unless you've been there with a few that close in age, you cant know how hard it is

@RainbowRaine Probably my fault. X (Girl) was 1 in July just gone and the twins were born in June. For a month we had 3 Girls under 1 years old. Crazy right! Everytime people see them I watch them try and do the calulcations then come back like... "Hold on so, X is 1 years old and you just had twins girls!!!"

Doesn't it get confusing that both of the TWINS have the same name

@Notashandyta 3, 5 & 6... You completley get it! Lets just say if we had another child instead of twins I think we would coupe a bit better but POW! Twin girls. I'll be honest if we found we were having 1 child we wouldn't have gone through with it but the blessing of 2 was a no brainer really. Thank you x

@PleasantVille They dont have the same name lol. Y, X, Z & Z are the first letters of all there names... There could be a "Guess the Name Game" here but i dont think anyone would get them!! just saying

@dysfunctionaltomato No, I wasnt thats the funny thing. I had just done a double session with the twins (Feed, burp, bum, etc,). I was just putting twin 2 down to sleep. I done a little fist pump, felt I need a reward (because daddy did good). opened the cabinet and poured one, finished it then it all kicked off. My better half charges in and probably thought I was the cause of it all and been drinking all night!! Not the case at all and we laughed about it today when I explained.
