Its TWINS?

I didn't understand what that meant at first!
The conversation I was about to have when I picked up the phone that day was supposed to be sooooo different. I was prepared for that conversation because I made notes after last nights conversation. This conversation (taken in a meeting room at work, around 2pm, PRE-LOCKDOWN) was supposed to include no babies...
We have a 4 year old boy and have just had a baby girl who was 1 years old in July 20.
... This conversation was always going to be sad, heart-breaking and soul destroying but I expected it and we discussed it, planned it and prepared for it...

She called me coming out of the clinic saying she can't do it... Its TWINS!

Bless you, OP. Sounds like you are having pretty rough time with your 4 under 4! Is there anyone who could help you, maybe grandparents? Or other family members, friends? I’ve got two under three and that can be bad at times, so can’t even imagine what it’s like for you with 4 babies!

At 5.50am?? Because he has school today He came home from schoool yesterday dn wanted to sleep straight away but we tried to keep him awake whilst juggling other babies, he ended up going to leep art about 6-7pm last night (Danger Zone for us) he doesn't sleep through the night was expecting him to get up about 3-5am. I do the twins throught the night so im up! I would have liked to get a little few hours before I wake up for work this morning. There may have been Bulls here before but that kind of HORN got shut down over a year ago. Try TWINS! Dont play with bulls like violence!! You will soon realise that 2 babies is demanding, dangerous and alot more unforgivening than any bull would be!! After a few minuets of stamping and horning or what ever they do a bull will probably get bored and run off!! A baby... A twin baby just gets started with you!! Relentless!!!

@Brunts12 Yes we have family and they do help out luckily, wel my mum does. She has 4 kids including me so it's kinda entertaining for her watch us going through parenting issues. Shes a school teacher as well so you can imagine the chats or advice I get!!!

Two tips.

  1. Turn off caps lock.
  2. Not every sentence needs to end in a exclamation mark.

This makes zero sense. That might be my baby brain though. I have a 2 week old non-TWIN. She and her 6yo sister are plenty for me.

Is it!? Have you got TWINS? I learned very quickley that they do not go away and came with such an impact I dont feel like im ready to stop using the full capitals just yet!! but thank you for your concern.

I can’t work out when your children were born. Why were you expecting bad news from the clinic?

Twins are of course hard work especially with two older children too but they’re all here now and you seem to resent them all.

@BeingATwatItsABingThing Your absolutely right! I suppose what im trying to express is the twin factor... I've had kids and could have another but 2 at the same time... during this lock down stuff and no visitors. Difficult, no baby shower, no celebration, wetting babies head, cuddles, etc. Th hospital was a horrible experience! we have 6 people in our house at the moment which means no visitors.
