Saw The Observer i/v too and wondered if J Rayner knows a bit more than he's letting on?

ionesmum · 08/09/2002 23:26

susan, it was a great idea and I wasn't offended.

Susan, don't apologise for starting this thread. It's a great idea for letting off steam and you are most definitely not responsible if some people overstep the mark.

PS We have some Fairport Convention LP's(!) at home and I've been to see them twice, in the 70's - that does count as folk music??

SueDonim · 09/09/2002 03:01

Or even 'does that?'!!

susanmt, don't apologise for starting this thread, there has been lots of humour here. imho, there are a number of subjects which, in my 18m of lurking and posting here, always seem to get quite heated. routines or not, working mums & sahms, to vaccinate or not etc. imho, this thread has not got any more heated than the dozens of others on the subject, and has also had some very creative knitting ideas...

Don't apologise, Susanmt, the funny, light-hearted bits of this thread really made me smile at a time when we hadn't got much to laugh about. As bossykate says, certain subjects here can boil up without warning from time to time, and that is hardly the fault of the person who started the thread!
