I love the John Smiths adverts - particularly the diving one "great bombing".

Read yesterday that Alex from BB is the new face of Domestos, and the ad will also feature him singin 'thats the way I like it', (the funny clip he did on 70s night). £1million!!

Will it be on this thread or the other I wonder?!

My favourite bit of advertising was in the middle of Jon Snow's intimate interview with Monica Lewinsky. Just after she talked about 'the stain on the dress' an ad came on for Vanish in-wash tablets....oh the irony.

I live the volvic water ad with the stoneage man running away from the dinosaur - I liked another dinosaur ad, which was shown a few years ago now, for Lynx (the lynx effect) - I remember the tune being really catchy - does anyone remember this one?

I've become obsessed with the tune from the Hyundai cars advert - something like''I'm sticking with you, cos you're made out of glue'(!)sung in a really plaintive 'little girl' voice - yes I know it sounds awful - and in a way it is - but I really love it!!!

The I'm Sticking With You song is by Lou Reed with Nico on vocals. Came out around 1969-70, can't remeber which album it was on tho'.

This is really sad I know - but I e mailed Hyundai and asked about the song and they said thier version was by the Velvet Underground - on the album VU (1993)

Well I may be 'sad' but I'm currently also HAPPY -having commented on this track to dh earlier on this evening, it turns out he had said album in the attic - so I've just got it down and indulged myself several times over!

Another car one..........

I like the Freelander one where new "boyfriend" comes round to flat, is impressed by collection of south american souvenirs, and is caught trying to play penile cover (?!?) as a trumpet. Makes me laugh every time.

I love the new Walkers ad with Gary Lineker as Austin Powers. Also the personal injury one with that incredibly hideous man with a flared head - creases me up every time!
